My contract with ADT/Telus is up for renewal and I’m wondering what else is available out there. I currently pay $33.32/month (including tax) and can lock that in for three years. I just called Rogers, and their best offer was $45.00/ month for the same services I have now.

I had alarmforce for years.....till it literally didn't work anymore ended up with Bell smart home who bought them over and now have to pay 45 or 49 i forget. I was paying 35, but the new system is heads and tails better, comes with an app on your phone, it's worth it.

I bought a couple Nest cameras and monitor myself. I still have the house alarm but dropped the monitoring.

We have ADT/Telus as well. Just got a notification that the cost will be increasing $5 per month.
Last time we renewed, we complained and threatened to leave. They called us back with a better deal.
