Buying vehicle in Alberta??? questions? anyone done it?

Hello

I am looking at buying a vehicle in Alberta and have some questions?

The vehicle is at a small dealership...would I have to pay Alberta Taxes?...then bring to Ontario and pay ontario taxes?
is there a trip permit that I could get to be able to drive this vehicle back?

My 11 GT Mustang came from AB by train, you will pay ON tax when you register the car here in Ontario. Not sure about a trip permit since I didn't drive it home but you can get a temp permit from the ministry and you'll need insurance of course.

BTW, it cost me $1200 to get the car here by train and takes about 2 weeks from when the train leaves AB.
