Actor Chadwick Boseman, who played Black icons Jackie Robinson and James Brown before finding fame as the regal Black Panther in the Marvel cinematic universe, died Friday of cancer, his representative said. He was 43.

Wife told me last night. Sucks. He was a great actor. My wife just watched 21 Bridges the other day and I rewatched Black Panther a few weeks ago. I’m working from home so binged watched all the Marvel movies. Message from the King was a great movie he starred in that he worked on his accent for Black Panther.

Yeah! genuine gentleman doesn't share their battles with others. It was colon cancer which he was fighting. RIP Chadwick Boseman :/

He played Jackie Robinson in the Jackie Robinson biopic, passed away on MLB’s Jackie Robinson day where every player wears JR’s #42. Bit of a fitting remembrance to him
