Anyone with experiences with either brand for a strut on a Foxbody with coilovers added to them ?
Price point to price point because I see koni has more affordable versions where Bilstien does not seem to have economical options
Having had all of the above and then some on my own car. ......
Bilsteins worked well but definately hit a wall once you move much over 300-325 springs.
Koni single adjustable, IMHO, ok for stock springs. On coil overs, best with conservative spring rates only or ride n handling suffers hard.
Koni Dbl Adj, good grief do these things work well with aggressive spring rates. My car with them + 450lb front springs outride Bilsteins with anything over 300lbs. On the track, nothing but praise for them. Well worth the extra money.
If I keep the Cobra, next step will be JRI on all four corners.

I have the koni SA with the MM coilover kit, no issues rides great, I'm only running a 275 spring rate thou.

Agreed. I have Bilstein HD’s and Hypercoil 325 springs up front. Combo works well IMO. Bilstein doesn’t recommend going over 325.

If you're buying Koni, don't cheap out, buy the double adjustable.

Bilstein best quality for the money, but Koni DA a big step up. Street use, Bilstein is all you need. If you plan on road course, DA’s will work with much more spring rate than the Bilstein’s can handle. I have run both as well.
I have Koni DA's on my car with coilovers and high spring rates as well, very pleased with the combination
