I like the way the regular 2 door Bronco looks, unsure about the 4-door (it May grow on me) and don’t like the Bronco sport.

Looks like the upgraded model will have the 2.7 and 10 speed auto from the F150. The base model will get and the 2.3 from the Mustang (hard pass for me on the 4cyl).

Wish they would bring back a 2 and 4 door full size Bronco based off the new F150. I will take one of those in Sonic Blue and Coyote 5.0 please. Then a 7.3L raptor based one would be truly amazing...oh well I guess I will just keep wishing...

So the sport model is pretty much an escape with a face lift.

But I do like the aggressive one. Looks way better then Jeep. And probably a lot faster with the 2.7 V6 TT compared to jeeps 3.6 NA

My dream spec (right now) is a Big Bend 4 door (claimed 47k MSRP base so add on 4k to get the 2.7eco with 10spd) with the Sasquatch package (assuming thats an 8k option) so would likely be deep in the 50s/low 60's without touching the top dog trim.

Ya but that’s a lot of money and it’s only a 4 seater ( comfortably). Where as the Durango still is a N/A V8 with 7 seater.

the Mini was a personal vehicle but got relocated to a service truck when we traded the edge in. I was hoping the edge would last until it could be replaced with a bronco but the Bronco took too long. lol

when the bronco is available the plan is to trade the mini in. though i would seriously consider a Mach E as a service vehicle if they offered it in a bare bones with the ER AWD.

Could be, it was still dark and I didn't look too closely. I did also see a new escape well before they were released in the same area and don't live all that far from the Ford plant so you never know.

Well this is the sport model which is targeting that exact crowd.
The new Escape targets a much older demo.
Ford is trying to bring in that younger crowd again that don't want the explorer.
I loved my 3 Escapes from 2006-2012. Such a practical vehicle.

Orders for the Bronco have been delayed. Problems with the removable roof.
Bronco Sports are not effected.

I got to drive the new Bronco while I was in the Soo last week (thanks Maitland Ford). It was a 4-door model, soft top, with the 2.3litre turbo four and automatic in a really nice navy blue metallic. Word to the tall, watch your noggin getting in and out. The 2.3 was surprisingly peppy, but a little buzzy. The on road ride was decent and very livable. The windshield is a little on the short side, but this is coming from driving an F150 for the past year. I also saw a two-door version, with the 35s on it. In terms of cool factor, the 2-door has it.

Welcome to my nightmare and the Bronco shit-show.
Ford has to replace EVERY hard-top that's been made.
That's right EVERY one. Currently there are thousands of broncos sitting unable to be shipped because the Top does not pass QC standards.
Ford has come up with 4 scenario's if you have a hard top coming. (soft top orders don't seem to be affected)

1)if you have your Bronco with a hardtop or it's in transit just wait and the dealer will replace it free of charge.
2)If your build date has passed just sit tight. We need to fix the roofs of the thousands awaiting shipping before we build yours.
3) -My scenario- If you have a VIN and your build date is scheduled in the future just sit tight. We need to deal with all the ones before yours and then we can build it. Hopefully in 2021 but there is no guarantee.
4) You have an order and no vin or build date well sucks to be you because you may see it in 2022 or there is a strong possibility it may arrive 2023.

Now you might ask well Biz switch to a soft top and quit your bitchin and as much as I would love to do that, Ford doesn't make a soft top for the 2 door model yet. That's right they haven't figured that out yet. <insert massive face palm>
ALL 2 doors are hard tops.

I guess I dont understand how Ford, who have worked on this vehicle for 6 years couldn't figure out the QA issues and couldn't have both tops avail for the 2 dr. They do for the 4 dr.
Anyways as far as I can tell Ford will update the non built VIN'd customers in October on the progress they're making.

Your son got a 4cyl soft top.
Ford had 12 weeks of stopped production on all hard tops and there was a V6 shortage. So they kept the line running with 4 door 4cyl soft tops. I could have easily changed my order but that's not what I want. I drove the 4cyl 4dr and felt it was under powered. That motor was fine in my Focus RS but not in a 5000lb tank. Ford filled all the 4dr soft top orders which allowed dealers to get a few for stock. That's the only reason he got his. If there was never a hard top issue my guess is he wouldn't have one now.

Like most, I've been pretty excited about the Bronco, but the closer I look, the more I get disappointed by some of the details. B-pillar keypad from the 80s? An antenna from the 60s? I know the roof is removable, but I'm sure they can figure out something else. The tach in the manual cars is just awful and the option packages with a manual are brutal. I planned on getting a Bronco once they became more available, but the more I look, the less I'm sure I even want one.

and put in the console vault and Hood deflector (not installed yet).

Had the dealer swap out the tiny OEM tires for some BF Goodrich K02's.
Tint to 18%
and put in the console vault and Hood deflector (not installed yet).

These work out to be 33.2".
I have a 1" leveling kit coming for the front. It has a slight rake.

IMO that’s the correct size of tire Ford should have put on it. Looks perfect.
