Not a Dodge guy, but this is a sweet looking ride. Might even handle some road curves.

Challengers are sweet rides. My SRT 392 was a beast. Scared the $#@* out me a few times. It had the 275’s on it and traction was definitely not on my side. I am sure the 305’s help.

Just like GM they can't count either......just a marketing scheme……...how can you call it 50th year anniversary when the car stopped production in 76??, you only get to call it 50 anniversary if you have been building it for 50 years!
what a bunch of clowns!!!

The original version was done after 1974 model year. Most people forget about or aren't aware of these that were offered from 77-83 though, a rebadged Mitsubishi product:

They were the Mustang II of the Challenger lineup for sure, but they didn't sell nearly as many of course.

Despite the 50th Ann concerns that looks like a pretty cool car, I love all the little touches that they add to make the car special, the wheels look sick, as well as the body-colour shaker with the black hood and roof. I like it, a lot.

Great looking car for sure. With all that weight and power they can certainly use the 305 rubber all around that fits with the flares.

I don’t care what they call them.
50th, 150th, 5th, whatever.
They are a great looking, fun car. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a review of a Hellcat or one of the many variants and the reviewer wasn’t smiling ear to ear.
Yes I wish they were a little lighter but they are what they are and Daimler Fiat Dodge Chrysler has done awesome work reinventing this car. I’d take one no problem.

I've never driven one other than a few slow demonstration laps on track, but did coach a guy with a Hellcat widebody at the small track at Mosport a few years ago. It was a cold wet day, I thought we'd be in for a miserable day with that much power and weight, but I have to say I was very impressed at how well it hung on.
I love the looks and performance numbers.

The 2009 Challenger R/T I had was a great cruiser and got a lot of attention with the Hemi Orange Colour. Before buying my 2019 Mustang GT I considered getting a Scat Pack Challenger but there was pretty much none used available for a decent price and new was more then I wanted to spend.

50th anniversary implies that the car has been in production for 50 consecutive years which it has not...same for the Gaymaro.
It has been a really good run for that car for how many model years it has been around for without major cosmetic changes, Dodge has done a really great job keeping it relevant

I'd rock a Hellcat all day every day. The scatpack with boost is pretty close, but if you're doing it just go for it, get the hellcat!

I absolutely love wide body Challengers, if money (and space) were not a factor I would definitely have one parked next to my Mustang. Dodge has done such a great job revising this car and the wide body is the final piece for me.
It would make a great cruiser/drag racer/burnout machine and that’s all awesome! The only problem I would have (especially with the supercharged models) is not pretending I am John Force every time I have a piece of open tarmac in front of me! LOL
Oddly enough, Challenger was on my radar in a big way. Had the opportunity to drive a couple of them in the last few months, while find them nice cars, most definitely not the right fit for me.
