Bleeding Brembo Brakes

Hey everyone, so I installed new pads and Boss 302 hoses on my 07 GT500. Bled the brakes the old school method and there is almost no brakes at all now. When bleeding the brembo's I did inside, outside, then inside again based on a procedure I found online that looked to be from Ford.

What is the best method of bleeding these brakes without getting a vacuum bleeder? Or is that my only option? What about gravity bleeding?

What method did you use?
Did master cyl go dry?

Started RR, buddy pump the brakes a few times, hold, crack bleeder, close bleeder while foot still on the pedal, then repeat 2 - 3 times for each bleeder. The MC didn't go dry.

So definitely air in the system, I am going to gravity bleed it. Already set up the right rear caliper and can see bubbles coming out.

Some master cylinders needs to be bleed first if fluid run low...
Some have bleeder screws right on side master cylinder ....
Then bleed the brakes..........

This one doesn't have any bleeders on it that I noticed but ill double check, however I am pretty confident I did not let the MC get low during hose install or bleeding. I made sure to keep an eye on it. Finished gravity bleeding the RR, and now the LR is going...leaving each one for about an hour and ensuring looking to see if the bleeder has only fluid and no air coming out.

I did swap hoses....so id imagine during that process. Brakes were fine before.

are the bleeder screws top or bottom - should be at the top - also sometimes air can get in the ABS valve - can be agitated out with a scanner

Open LF inner bleeder, have second person gently / slowly bring pedal to the floor (without forcing it), close bleeder n slowly bring pedal back up, repeat until no air then do inner.
Move to RF and repeat.
Move to RR and repeat.
Move to LR and repeat (monitor fluid level as you go)
If pedal still poor, crack lines at the master cylinder and gently bring pedal down, hold n close both lines, repeat second time then try pedal.

Don't pump then open bleeders, as above only.

LOL...the brakes are all stock and bleeders pointing up!

Rick should the key be turned to the on position? I am told this powers the ABS module?

I have a ford dealer down the road....I may limp the car over there and just get them to do it lol. It's only about an hours labour to do the job, the car still needs the airbag recall done anyways!

some scanners have a built in option to activate the ABS valve - this can also be done by hard braking and activating that way (not recommended) if yo took you calipers off be sure you put them on the correct side - bleeder screws should at the top...

Mentioned in another thread that the brakes are all good now.

Updating that I just installed my VMP triple pass heat exchanger with dual fans....nice piece and pretty straight forward installation! I never drove the car in the warm temps last year but I am sure this will be a great mod.
