Hi Guys,

Just wanted to share a little bit I guess, been exactly 9 years since I lost my Dad (would have posted earlier today but it was a busy go earlier)

Anyways, I remember it like it was yesterday, worst day of my life getting a phone call at work saying my Dad a fallen in the bathroom and was hurt pretty bad... That's all I knew and at that point I was terrified cause my Dad was a "Super Hero" (to me!) and I've never heard of him being hurt so I was like WTF, was he working on something and fell on the tub or counter or something?

Anyways, I drove as fast as I could home (seem to take forever) and when I turned the corner on my street to see, 2 Firetrucks, an Ambulance, 4 Police cars and a few other cars and people running in and out of my front door, I literally could not believe what I was seeing!!

Anyways, long story short, son of bitch died before I could get there in time and say goodbye... So that was pretty sad, but then all those feelings were immediately lost as the next thought entered my mind, which was... "oh no, MOM!"....................................

Dad was the Manager of Z Series Hardware and Software for International Business Machines better known as IBM, This is the mainframe hardware that is used to run high level tech services like Banks and Firms and shit like that...

Anyways... enough about that... wanted to share some random pics that I was going through tonight from the video that I made for his Funeral Service...

Thank you for sharing Dave. I would have liked to have met him. Taken away too soon. He left behind a wonderful family.

Some great memories captured of a man who enjoyed life, thanks for sharing. I feel your pain Dave, in a couple of days will mark 4 years since the sudden lost of my mom. She was about the same age as your dad, bloody sucks.

Losing a loved one is never easy, but you can cherish the memories you made with them and remember to love those still here every day, because we just don't know when they'll be gone. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys, appreciate the kinda words and I agree... cherish the moments cause like people have mentioned... you NEVER EVER know!!!

Forgot one pic that I meant to post... Dad used to take his team a couple times a season (For Planning Sessions) LOL up to the island on the boat for a couple days at a time!! They used to love it! haha

Dave, I can understand what you are feeling and I believe it’s natural. Lost my Dad September 2014 and still think about him all the time.

Only thing to do is enjoy everyone around you as much as possible and don’t ever take life too seriously.
