Looking at buying Maximum camera for 100 bucks. Looks like a cheap tool compared to ripping heads off, reassembling and adjusting. Anybody have good or bad thoughts - about the camera.
They work just fine plus priced very right.

Worked pretty good finding pot-light wires that got dry walled over on the ceiling.
Sometimes it’s difficult figuring out what you are looking at if you lose track of where the camera head is.

I use a similar camera as well for auto and home repair...no issues.

Looking for inside engine cylinder use only. Wondering if lighting is sufficient.

Lighting on mine is great. If you decide it's not good for your needs, bring it back.

Gotta love CT for that reason.. no questions asked when returning or replacing a broken tool. At least for me.

Well looks like I'm going to pick one up and build up my CTC money fund for the grandkids.
Thanks.

Decided not to buy it. If I inserted the probe in a E7 head looks as if the camera probe couldn't be rotated inside to see the valves and top of combustion chamber.
Am I wrong?

Mine came with a little mirror you could clip on so you could see up. Worked great till I lent it to a buddy and came back with the end smashed. Lol

I may look at Milwaukee tool if I get to the Woodworking show this weekend. May be tight to get in, but looks 90 degrees.

You cannot see above the camera lens, it has a little mirror but the attaching method is pretty flimsy and I’ve never had any actual luck with it. That being said I bought mine probably 4 years ago and have used it a lot, for me in the auto trade it works very well, especially considering the price.
