This has never happened to me in Quebec - what about you? (edited from a comment on my FB page): "A couple of buddies trailered up to Mont Laurier last weekend and they got $30 tickets from the Sûreté du Québec (police) for not having the Ontario stick-on-licence plate on their sleds."
Hopefully, this is only a one-off incident, but apparently, our legal-in-Ontario custom numbers were unacceptable.
Please comment if you've heard anything similar…
