I started saving for the possibility of a new Mustang when I heard the rumours that there could be a late model Mach 1 produced on the S550 platform and I was going to be the first one in line to place my order! Of course, they have stayed rumours (although now they will probably bring one out since I bought the Shelby lol).

I’m sure there will be another Mach but I don’t think it will be on the new (Explorer) platform. This will be on the current platform. An all new Mustang probably won’t appear for at least 4 more years.

and prices never go down, so expect yet another slight price increase for this one. would be worth it if they gave the new mach the new dual clutch auto from the GT500.

BUT.......I don't work at ford.

I read it's going to have the tranny out of the GT350... but who knows

Better than the MT82 out of the Bullitt then at least. If a Bullitt is going to push very high hp, then I would budget a T6060 into the cost.

Corey, install an MGW into that car and it will honestly transform it. IMO, its the best mod you can do to those divorced shifter cars. That said, it is a shame they never offered those cars in a 10 spd auto. It would be wicked fast on the drag strip.
