If Badlands has anything left after Saturday, they open their online store Sunday at 8am. They’re usually sold out by 10. Early bird gets the beer.

Have seen the brewers signs on hwy 6 N from the 403, but never got around to visiting in Dundas.
Have to say the first beer straight from the bottle didn't have much flavour, but the 2 nd I had from a glass and it must have needed to breathe, as it tasted much better.

I remember going over the border and into Quebec in the 80's to a logging town called Belleterre up near Temiskaming - walked into the corner store and they had a fridge full off quarts. pull out a giant Laurentide, pay for it, crack it open at the counter and drink it like a coke walking down the street....hahaha Doug Ford should go there...lol

Went over to Buffalo today for lunch at Belt Line Brewery and Kitchen. Good beer and great food. Definitely suggest it if you’re in the area. Then over to Counterpart on the way back for a new release I hadn’t had yet.

Not what I expected. Very dark for an IPA, colour of a Rickards Red. First sip tasted a bit burnt, but I guess that’s the hint of pineapple. Second sip ...already forgot, what?

I might chase it with a Sparklepuff and wake up Monday morning.

I haven't had the other one yet so can't compare - didn't get the wildflowers but this one's more of a hop combo with additions like the honey version.

A very generous beer delivery today! Had to try a few since I’m working tomorrow. The Barry and Mary is definitely fantastic.

Armed ‘n Sabro was good too. The Lumberyard was a nice change. Decent west coast style ipa, malty and high IBUs unlike the sweet NEIPAs that seem to be taking over.

Stopped by the farm on the way home from Niagara and dropping in to visit Mike today, and sampled a couple mini brews. This Dora #20 was very nice although on the sweeter side versus tart. A few hardy folks out enjoying the warmth of the tasting bus as well.

Tonight, I'm enjoying this one (Pedestal Samba) I picked up today - nice citrus, pineapple, and a little tartness with minimal after taste (Dora #20 still my fave of today's ine-up but I haven't tried Bad Matter as yet).

Yeah, I had to do a Niagara run this morning so was already out in the snow on the way back so this was a nice stop-off before heading home. Truthfully....I would have probably gone anyway even if I wasn't out already. The beer bus is nice and warm.

No problem! Was good to touch base before driving back. Barry and Mary will be back in the next couple months I think so looking forward to that - will get a few extras next time.

I didn't get a chance to try that particular Lumberyard - had a couple others and really enjoyed their Hazy IPA of the couple I did have. I'm looking forward to trying the 2 Rainhards soon.

The Pedestal Samba I had tonight was good to but still prefer the Dora. The Blanc would be third. I haven't tried the Bad Matter as yet but I liked it last time they released it.

Different beer that’s all. Nothing wrong with a good ‘ol Keith’s when there’s nothing else but Bud and Canadian and Coors light on tap.

Keith’s would be my go too if there was nothing better. I’m sure it started as a traditional IPA and then morphed into what it is based on the tastes at the time. I toured the original factory when I was in Halifax a bunch of years ago. It tasted great then! They also had a red IPA then that wasn’t available in Ontario. It was a lot like Rickards Red.

Nocturnal is a Black IPA and was good although closer to a stout so a little confusing to me.

Glad you liked it. They are supposedly selling them in the LCBO but I prefer to get them fresh. Who knows how long they’ve been around when they’re at the LCBO.

Picked up some New Brunswick craft beers:
Four Rivers Brewery, American Amber Ale Bathurst NB.
Flying Boats Brewing Picnic Train WIT White Ale, coriander and bitter orange peel part of the flavouring, from Dieppe NB
Last is the Snap Dickie Cream Ale, Petit Sault brewing, from Edmundston NB. The beer is made in honour of a local legend, who coached and played local hockey.
None disappointed my palette.
