but it doesnt rev to 8k like a gt350.. lol.. really cant used the speed anywhere though thats the issue.. spirited driving is killed in ontario with the street racing laws.. i figure i can just stay in first gear and 2nd with the gt350 at 8k lol

Personally, if it wasn’t a vert, I’d go for the GT500, hands down...although I don’t care for the ad much. Either one is nice, but if you want a GT350 to wind it out, there’s really no comparison.

That is asking 13/14 gt500 money!
Add says no expense spared but then a ported stock blower?? That’s skipping some expenses and not going to a good blower. 22 psi on a stock blower is heat soak madness. Mine makes 711rwhp at 18 psi.

OMG...somebody buy this fucking car before I try to find a way to get another one!! These things are pure fucking awesome! And it's not all about the rear coming out from under you every corner, it's about the rear staying under you and being hooked up! It's totally different driving experience and that's just on the road! That being said, this car will kick out in 2nd, 3rd...no problem with it's underrated Voodoo and I haven't even been past 6K rpm yet

Some people like to light up the tires everywhere, some like to take off ramps at 130kph, both can be exhilarating in different ways...this car will do both and sounds ridiculous from the factory...no reason to do exhaust and headers... and that says a lot coming from me, specially to the people that know me and exhaust! The way this thing barks at you on rev match is a whole world of fun all in itself!


anyways, I have no experience with GT500's only GT350's but the GT350's 'R' Fucking Cool!!!

That was a really cool video. Really nice review and the dual lap timer portion was really great to watch. Sold me on the GT350 R.
In the meantime though, I'm quite happy with my 2018 GT.

the one Ed posted up is a 19...and they are only making 22 R's next year...so they are going to be really hard to get and again no need for exhaust, especially on the R with the factory resonator deletes, loudest factory production car available right now (yeas, I did a bunch of useless research on these cars for like a year LMAO) of course you could make it ridiculous but why bother messing with something that is already great...I've done the ridiculous thing on three other cars and it's fun don't get me wrong... but this car is already boarderline ridiculous to hear in person and with the RPM's your always going to be in the loud range!! haha just saying :)

A stock cobra is not really much fun. Needs many mods to get it into a great car. A GT350 is a turn key go anywhere car. I think it all depends on what you want in the car. If you want to tinker around and slowly improve the car, you get the cobra. If you arent looking to wrench on it the GT350 would be my pick.

I agree. I too would rather go with the GT350R. Such a beast on its own.
