Thinking about putting a tracker on the work truck.
Anyone got one they are using/ had good luck with?
Not sure I want to get into a commercial company and pay a monthly fee yet.
Hopping fornjust a plug and play type I can access wirelessly.

I prefer the second one as the first one can be unplugged but then the second one has to be recharged once in a while.

Then don't complain when it clocks her doing a buck-forty in an 80 zone.

some trackers including commercial don't update as quick as you may like may lag positioning - check into that if your looking for instant positioning

We run GeoTab on our fleet. The free stuff just wouldn't cut it. For $14 a month per unit the support has been great, super awesome dashboard, loads of reporting.
It's absolutely allowed us to cut some bad behavior out and fine tune some policies to save on fuel.

What you trying to say Hammer lol
She’d lie as to where she’s at?
Seems like you’ve done this before “ instant positioning “ lol

yeah not looking for instant, know there they are tracking but want to be able to monitor where they have been and how long they have been. seems to be common that their days take the same length of time doesn't matter if they have 2 stops or 6. lol

Look for something with Geofencing capabilities. I've geofenced several report zones (Timmies, McD's, Grocery stores, etc) which give me a weekly report of how much time each truck spends at those and number of visits, along with warning zones (Bars, Peelers, etc) that will automatically send me an alert whenever a truck visits those zones.
Also have the ability to make the device beep after so many minutes of idle time, along with seat belt and speed alerts.

good ideas. after looking at some of the amazon cheap ones the fine print says "one time fee" gets you a years access then you have to re pay the "one time fee"
so sent an email off to the one you mentioned for more info
