Also seeing a few guys opting to replace rear shocks after complaining about control when the road gets rough / through dips etc with excellent results. Sounds like a heavy rear springs with not enough shock to properly control them

I’ve been reading - found a good thread and finding this out. Odd Ford is not releasing the spring rates or travel (that at I can find). My guess is the travel is around 1” the front springs around 300 pds and the rears around 500. It appears there is not much that can be done to the front without major fab work and that’s getting me thinking and then I have to smack myself in The head and remind myself it’s your daily dumbass lol. They canceled the GT model from 2023 and come out with a replacement version with a 1” taller suspension magnaride and call it a rally version. What a joke. No offence to anyone who aspires to or owns one. It’s just a poor fix to what I think is a big problem. I hear they may be a news design for 2027.

Edit: did find something that said 2.5” travel for my model and 2.1 for the GT. I guess bump stops and travel explain no lean. I’m ok with the firm ride it’s the caster that bothers me and will take it to the shop you mentioned and have them look at it. The only issue I don’t like in the rear is sometimes the tires momentarily leave the ground that’s cringe worthy when they return yikes the bite like something is going to break.

be interesting to see if your Mach E has any amount of drop out when lifted by the chassis. Lack of total travel, makes perfect sense why some are seeing such positive results with a shock change. Been involved i a number of lowered rides on cheapie coilovers. In each case very limited compression travel but worst part is even less drop out meaning tires are constantly loosing contact with the road. Always feels amazing on smooth roads but add even a small dip and the car instantly becomes instable with ridiculously poor ride.

driving on fresh pavement with the radio off is weird, it is so quiet. for the most part the roads I use regularly are good. downtown TO is rough and some spots of the 400 series highways. 407 serrated sections not much fun. I like the car. Its kind of like a sleeper. A grocery getter with a bit of whoop ass. Girls seem to like the car so it fits the moniker "a secretaries car" lol —if I was to compare it to a mustang it would be the Foxbody, only because of its size and interior size and setup. It be real fun if it where standard tranny and I could break the rear end loose once in a while. The High Commander wants one now which is strange because she usually doesn't know what the hell she is driving. She would call me up from CT and tell me she's trying get new wipers and wants to know what kind of car she drives. hahaha but shes a good cook!
