Here at home my municipal election vote went into a Dominion machine, which are proven vulnerable. The leadership race between Scheer and Bernier is openly suspect.

i had a SSEi for a very short time lol. long story (knock knock, who's there? its Rod,.....)

I had thought they were the same block between the SC version and the NA one. bit it's been a few years so dont take my word as gosple. however. from what i do remember alot of them had recalls for fire issues. and they were not good for making power. bottom ends where really not up to the job.


if he wants to stick with a v6 what about the newer caddy 6's that the cts got early on. power wise they were pretty close to the sc3.8 i think those were a decent motor.

Try your luck on a Pontiac Fiero forum, I'm pretty sure the Fiero came with the option of a 2.8V6 / 4-spd manual. Many guys have done the 3.8 SC engine swap mated to a 4/5 speed manual.

self tapping fasteners sometime bind while cutting thru the hole —if you feel it getting getting stiff back the fastener out to extract the debris and retightened. Sometimes it may take several attempts.

Paid a guy to do a spoiler delete and a rear bumper install/paint. He went MIA, no updates given to me, nothing, wouldnt respond to any texts or calls.
When I got the car back, he had done patchy work .. fishy eye in the paint ... crack in the bondo .. took the car back, he promised he'd work on it... 1 full week passes... doesnt answer his phone, doesnt answer his texts... then calls me back saying my car is messed up it wont move... it has now been 1.5 weeks.
Yesterday, I went to his house ready to break knee caps.
Car was parked in the front with my keys in the mail box. He still didnt fix sh!!t.
I should have listened to my brown parents, never ever do business with brown people.

The school system indoctrination is our biggest local cultural effect, only strong parenting or home schooling can subvert that.

Others who were born and raised elsewhere may have different cultural habits. A person of any color raised in a culture where this type of poor behavior is normal will behave the same.

Paid a guy to do a spoiler delete and a rear bumper install/paint. He went MIA, no updates given to me, nothing, wouldnt respond to any texts or calls.
When I got the car back, he had done patchy work .. fishy eye in the paint ... crack in the bondo .. took the car back, he promised he'd work on it... 1 full week passes... doesnt answer his phone, doesnt answer his texts... then calls me back saying my car is messed up it wont move... it has now been 1.5 weeks.
Yesterday, I went to his house ready to break knee caps.
Car was parked in the front with my keys in the mail box. He still didnt fix sh!!t.
I should have listened to my brown parents, never ever do business with brown people.

If you have a business, make sure to get back to your customers. And if you mess up your work which the customer paid for - re-do it.

Merc pick up I just wired, guy had been getting jerked around for (wait for it) 7 yrs just to make it run. In that 7rs of waiting, they'd ruined either two or three stock harnesses trying to figure it out.

No cracks or broken glass, turned on immediately.

It went through a heavy duty wash cycle with my work clothes (cold water) and then dryer time.

A little bit of water film in the screen but still functions fine.

I agree. I took skid control and racing courses when I was young, (I'm old now) and I've always felt they should be mandatory. The level of instruction for drivers here in Ontario and much of North America is pitiful. I spent 5 years as a driving instructor, and tried to teach some elements of emergency car control, but got shut down by the bosses when parents complained I was teaching racing. Here, 12 hours of in car instruction, no emergency maneuvers, and no skid control is the norm. In Germany and most other European countries, 100 in car hours is a minimum.

Over the years. we've driven about 25 times to Florida and back, usually in January. There were always several overturned cars in the centre median and inevitably they were 4x4's. The sheer blind faith these people had in thinking their 4x4 system would overcome the laws of physics is laughable.

I just hate the dickering. Hey ya your trade is clean and needs literally nothing, but you have a carfax claim for a fender and hood so here's an offer about 10k below average retail. But also the vehicle we have priced as clean and perfect has major paint chips on multiple panels, steering pops cornering, has a major dash warning claiming its 200km away from derate, says its well overdue for fuel filters and oil, fender flares packed with mud and missing floor mat. But we think it's worth the top of market price and won't budge off ask.

This is the third truck I've gone to look at that was "no issues super clean nice unit" that had either rust coming through, interior pieces destroyed or missing, and had noticeable suspension problems but the price is the price.

Joe Van Overbeek, the hall of fame guy was committed to a particular model of suburban. He had a few bodies, bucket of spares and would just maintain one or two as roadworthy. Last I spoke to him he was planning to be running them until he no longer drives.

Just like I've built an aversion to smart phones (yes I have one, but will not replace), I'm not a big fan of modern vehicles that can be monitored and possibly even shut down by a 3rd party. And yes I'm single.

Truck in for service. Dealer gave me a Lightning for the night drive home

Optioned very similar to our F150. Only thing it don't have is the sunroof.

Standard range. Lariat.

Keeping in mind my truck is a 2021. 2 inch lift 5.0 with borla exhaust.
The silence is almost eerie but man does it motor.
Ride is fantastic for a truck it’s like driving a car. Feels actually light a nimble in parking lots. Which I wasn’t expecting.

Is it just me or have the number of people trying to sell garbage for big bucks tripled in the last year.

Just add after add, here is a “project” fully disassembled but I swear it’s all there. No ownership I know what I have, 10k or 15k I’ve even seen some over 20k

Truck prices are still a good 20-30% inflated from the Rona times. Wild to see so many of the same rides sitting on Trader week after week with dealers refusing to budge on price.

Inflation reduced purchasing power of the $$ isn't going away. Everything will need more $$'s to acquire. If prices drop it's a sign of recession afflicted motivated sellers getting desperate to pay bills.

Hard for used prices to drop when I just priced out a 23 F250 XLT diesel yesterday. Was surprised to say the least when I saw it would take $103K before taxes to buy one now.

My gf has a iphone. It's backwords to android. I have a tough time using it... and she organizes her apps very poorly LOL
