I always liked the look of GT grille fog lights behind the grille. I actually looked into what’s needed and turns out I just need the fog lights and a Starkey harness. My MCA grille has the rear mount to hold the fog lights in place. Same with a GT/CS grille as they’re the same as the MCA grille. Only thing would be to cut behind the front fascia to make an opening for the fog lights to show or get a Modern Billet Retro grille.

Then somehow that turned into me looking at the Procharger Centrifugal supercharger for my 3.7. Makes over 400 rwhp on low boost.

I can believe this - I did the same thing for an old farmer at Napa when covid first started - they wouldn't accept cash and the old guy didn't have cards of any kind - recently my wife needed a new bank card - usually they would send it in the mail - the bank is an hour from my house and they told the High Commander she would have to come and pick it up (the hours of service there have been drastically cut leaving a small window to get personal one-on-one service) - this same bank I' am having trouble with e transfers (could be my computer but never have trouble with other banks I use) their answer was to use a different server which would involve getting a security code thru phone or email - started using cheques again for a couple of reasons but we will see how long that lasts when my current back card expires

Couple things - treatment under the law and under a union contract may be different (so a non-union environment would just have employment law to address not also the union agreement). Also, an employer has the option of firing without and with cause so if they cannot use cause they have the other option and are then only bound by employment law (ie. notice, severance, etc).

Plus, the assessment that it's illegal and unconstitutional is still just a lawyer's opinion (the lawyers on the other side have a different opinion) as I don't think this has been tested in court and any precedent set - correct me if I'm wrong and missed this. Cannot say it is illegal or unconstitutional until it has been decided in court and gone through the appeals process.

As for discrimination, my understanding of the laws that discrimination falls under is that being non-vaccinated is not a category that falls under the law as it's not something that is unchangeable by the individual - gender, race , orientation, etc is covered under laws about discrimination because an individual cannot change those. It apparently doesn't cover scenarios of "personal choice" (the aspect of public health leans it even more away from the individual if they are the ones choosing to be non-vaccinated). Of course, if you have a legitimate medical reason to non be vaccinated then that would fall under the laws and accommodation would have to be made to stay on the right side of the law.

Even the question of legality of testing has a lot of room for interpretation that's why the employers' lawyers have an opinion that testing is not equal to treatment, for example. The police already do alcohol breath testing, employers do drug testing (if the employment contract allows it), etc., so there is precedent that the courts will compare against and will have to decide if this is more or less similar.

Spent yesterday and today painting the front door and garage door. Used to be some type of grey like my neighbor. My dad painted it that colour. Looked boring. So time for a refresh and my own style which is painting the blocks white to match the windows. Nobody in my area has done this. Every house is the same one colour front door and garage door. People have no imagination. Sico Blue Moon high gloss and Sico pure white semi gloss. I’ll take some a better pic when the sun hits it. Gotta do a bunch of touch ups in a week or two though.

So I’m a noob. I didn’t realize I had to torque down the lap joint exhaust clamps that came with the x pipe to 50-70 ft/lbs. Which is why I kept hearing them vibrate while driving. Mind you, when I tightened them the first time it was at night and I only had my phone light. So got it under the car and torqued them to 50 ft/lbs, well at least the left side is 50. Couldn’t get the other side to click on my torque wrench. So I stopped when I felt it’s tight enough and both sides of the clamps were touching. These Walker clamps have some type of double sided tape to hold both sides together so they can’t back out over time. I’m used to Hondas with flanges on the exhaust pipes.

So I went for a quick drive. No odd sounds coming from the clamps. Can only hear the factory exhaust because I’m still waiting for my Magnaflows to come in. Almost spun out going into 2nd gear with AdvanceTrac still on. That x pipe sure makes a world of a difference getting the power out.

Had it with the poor gas consumption of the Camry and dropped by my local Honda dealership and proceeded to buy a used Civic Sedan. Just waiting for them to clean it up. Previous owner didn't give a rats ass about the interior. Was filthy in every way. Drove fantastic for a CVT transmission I was really surprised. Felt way peppier than my V6 Camry.

Yeah, premium in the TSX was annoying. Accord takes regular, has the same tank size and almost the same amount of power.

K series engines are strong. They’re like the B series engine of the past. Change the oil whenever you feel like. Whatever makes you happy. It can go to 8k like it’s supposed to. Never had problems with mine. Definitely go synthetic and get a catch can. I didn’t like the amount of oil vapours in the intake manifold when cleaning out the throttle body.

Did the same for the wife’s Accord. Washed the wheels twice too since they’re black with a machined face. Used a metal polish on the dirty exhaust tip. Didn’t dry the car with a towel though as I knew it was gonna rain today. Just needed to clean off that layer of dirt that only hand washing can clean off.

Thanks. Wife always gets complements on the car. Of course I chose the colour and opted for the sport grille rather than the boring 3 bar chrome grille. The sport grille makes the front look way better. Also got door mouldings just because I like the look, kinda old school.

And some useless information, you won’t see many Accords with front splash guards. They didn’t sell those for Canadian cars. The USA got them though, which is odd since Canada has more snow. So I ordered them from the USA. And to reverse things, the USA didn’t get a 4 cylinder Touring trim, only V6 Touring. Don’t know why Honda did that since they’re all about fuel savings. Funny thing though, the car was built in Ohio but not sold in the USA, where Ohio is.

The biggest difference from normal cobra calipers to cobra R 4 piston is pad life.
Getting much better pad life with the 4 piston.

can you detail out which Caddy calipers to use. I have several local yards and could probably source a set for rebuild/install. Any need to change master used for Cobra brakes?

My 2014 ATS (2.0 Turbo) has the Brembos in front which is the caliper you want - I think they are in the 2013+ ATS with Luxury/Premium/Performance trims (I believe only the turbo and 3.6 V6 models). Might be the same Brembos on my '06 Volvo (front and rear with 330mm rotors) although brackets might be different.

Based on Ross's has stock master with Caddy front and Cobra rear, yes.
Also, contrary to some that claim brake bias ends up totally out to lunch, his car feels perfect in spite of no ABS (same on street / track pad set ups).

They do not bolt right up, there is an offset bushing kit that needs to be installed onto the calipers to allow for them to bolt in place. Have a look at Zippy’s for sale add for the complete parts list required, he was selling a complete kit.

Their is a place just down the street from my house, National Helicopters, that does maintenance on helicopters. Before covid, they had a yearly open house and offered rides in one of their copters. Several years ago, Celeste and I paid for a ride. It was really cool to see your home, and neighbourhood from the air.

So after reading on various other forums that catbacks can be installed on jack stands, just have to get the car high enough, I decided to try it yesterday. Started after noon and finished up after 8pm. It should have only took a few hours. Once I got the car high enough on 2 ton jack stands, the over axle pipes were easy to come out and the Magnaflows even easier as they have less bends. Going from stock 2.25” to 2.5” over axle pipes. To get everything swapped out was easy. The hard part was adjusting the tips to not touch the bumper, that was the most time consuming. There’s not much adjustment in the system. There’s only a rotating adjustment as the over axle pipes and muffler slip onto each other. Can’t do up and down, left or right. Just rotate the system. I got the tips to be about 0.25” away from the bumper and any movement won’t touch the bumper. Got it to the best I could do while working alone. If I could get it onto a lift I could probably adjust it better but for now it’s safe that it shouldn’t melt the rear diffuser. The provided band clamps suck. Single bolt band clamp were trash. One bolt broke while torquing to 40ft/lbs. Had the wife go to Canadian Tire and get me double bolt band clamps that were so much better and also stainless steel. So much better than the ones Magnaflow provided. Tightening the muffler to the pipes was the last thing I needed to do so was pissed the clamps broke. So I torqued everything else down to the requirements while I waited for the wife to come back. Once I got everything tightened up I cleaned up all dirt and grease from the exhaust, especially the polished tips. Went for a quick drive, pretty sure I annoyed the neighbours because it’s loud. The Magnaflow Competition is basically a straight pipe. I’ll post more pics when it stops raining.

Heat shield keeps falling apart on our Ford Focus so I’m looking at peel and stick options. Anyone have recommendations on anything in particular. Would prefer to be able to go to a store and buy but it’s looking like douche Bezos will be the best bet.

So the right side muffler has moved a little and the tip is touching the valance a little. Probably because the band clamps need retightening. However the left side hasn’t moved. The left side never gave me trouble for clearance on the valance, just the right side did. I had to force it down and then tighten the clamps for it to clear. There’s not much range for adjustment on this catback. The pipes go straight onto each other so you can’t really go up, down, left or right. I’m thinking I should pull the mufflers out and bend the 2 rear hangers upwards to get the tips to go down. Maybe the hangers were bent a little during shipping which happens often. Here’s a pic of how it looks and a link to AM which has real pics of the catback. Ideally I’d like to have the tips have even clearance to the valance all around.

Yes I’m aware of this too. Even said so on the Magnaflow instructions to retighten the clamps after 50 miles. Which I was planning to do tomorrow after a week of driving.

Not about clamps securing things in place, metal memory causing the issue.
Thats why we go insane trying to adjust a previously installed system where installer went wild with the mig on each and every connection.
As for lil bend / tweak req'd on the hangers, yup that happens almost every time.
Had 6 or 7 different axle backs on the 05, only one that bolted up with no bending or hassles and didn't move after heat cycling, Borla Touring.
