For reference my car setup is a stock bottom end 2V, Comp 262ah cams, ported C&L plenum and TB, Vortech V3 with a 10# pulley, Snow Meth kit, T56 swap using the factory steel flywheel and a centerforce DF clutch, aluminum driveshaft to the factory 8.8 with moser axles and 4.10 gears/trutrac.

So I thought to upgrade the tranny and forge my internals and up the boost. I want a street car pushing 600hp. My 5th gear with with 3.73s is a pure dead gear

If you're going to build the motor and go max effort I'd say you're staring down the barrel of having to build your trans anyway so may a well get another gear and better trans in the deal. However on a mild stock bottom end build it's not going to be a drastic performance upgrade sadly. I did mine because a good friend hooked me up with it. Guy had bought it to put behind an LSx powered Nissan, however he ended up with one for a Mod-Ford. He sold it for cheap compared to what I had been seeing ($600) and after selling my stock trans/FRPP driveshaft combo I ended up getting a T56 with a brand new clutch for basically $100.

I do like the Cosmis wheels, but can't get the offset's that I need. Because of the IRS, I need 18 x 10 x 41mm offset or 7.1" backspacing. Front would work with 18 x 9 x 25mm (which is available). Car currently has 18 x 9 with 38mm offset and a 1/4" spacer, this would move the wheel out another 1/4" (preferable) and eliminate the spacer which is ideal.

Had AC in the shop for a few years now, it took a dump on Monday, had forgotten how hot it gets in there when temps get high. While I know it's in a crappy environment with the dust n dirt etc, breakdown intervals n overall service life was not great (AirWorks ductless unit). Will be replacing with something higher end in the hope extra spent up front pays off over the long haul.
Ever notice, furnace only breaks down when it's cold, AC only craps out when it's hot. huh!!

So I bought a rubber band deal (the heaviest one I could find) since my gym is shut down. At first I'm thinking, this is not enough force to do anything... ended up doing like 50 reps for the biceps and my tits... thinking "waste of money"... this morning I can hardly move so I guess it's not as bad as I thought. My regiment was 50 pushups and 50 situps each day and run 1200m every 2nd day, now adding these elastic rubber band things to the routine.

I tried to cut back on the booze but it's back with a vengeance, I drank 2 cases of 24 in a week... I stopped smoking weed 100% though lol I think my job has me seriously depressed, I had a breakdown the other day again... I try to not care but that lasts like 10 minutes, I just can't seem to stop.

Oh and my work is doing everything it can to get us back in the office. The latest news is I will have to go back, my team will continue to work from home and basically I will commute to work to "teleconference"... it's absurd. I can't work 10+ hours a day and add 3 hours of commute (I may be forced to do 9 to 5 in the heat of traffic). I'm sick of being in a toxic environment that caters to their own ego more so than the work being done. I guess it's a lesson to never work for a family run company again because, eventually, those running the place are running it because of their last name, and has nothing to do with intelligence, skill or experience. I have nothing but respect for the previous generation of owners though, those guys have heart, compassion, intellect, and business acumen. People you could look up to and learn from. You can tell they worked their butts off their whole lives. I loved working for my previous bosses. Now that it's all changed, it's a shit show. lol I miss the old days so much. My boss at the time was a forward thinker, an innovator and he kept a lot of the BS away from his employees.

I'm just sick of having to do things like explaining what a "business case" or cash versus accrual accounting is to someone making 10x my salary and should know basic business stuff. I should be the one learning, I'm a retard that didn't go to university. I know working anywhere gives you ample opportunities to dislike things (and people or their actions I should say) but I'm at the point where 80% of my interactions make me roll my eyes... contempt is a powerful feeling. I don't enjoy having those emotions, it eats away at me.

Biggest problem with the cheaper versions, not so much as a single part available unless it's generic n shared with another unit. Inside circuit boards etc, no chance.

Tell me about it... out in the F150 the other day and hit the AC...ah...nice cool air. A minute later, the wife says, 'Why you got the heat on?' It's blowing cool on my side and HOT on hers...lol Figure the blend door actuator took a dump. It's in the dealer this morn getting looked at.
Round two... out in the Cobra the other day and hit the AC... nothing but warm air. Argh! Will test the low pressure switch this morn. Hoping that's all it is. Replaced it back about 6 yrs ago...fingers crossed.

My HVAC died the other day... checked it out, it was all wet. Turns out the drain pipe vent was blocked causing water buildup which ended up in the fan and circuit board. Took it apart, dried it and put back together, runs mint again. Last year it was the capacitator in the AC unit... the part that helps get the pump running or provides the initial spike in current that's needed.

When I went by they had 3 pulled over, including a BMW 6 series on a flatbed with the driver outside on cell phone.....suggesting he got caught doing at least 50 over.

Keep in mind, while things may look somewhat normal out there, many manufacturers have been shut down for two plus months now. As such, some of the cool stuff you've ordered and getting tired of waiting for just plain are not available right now or will take longer vs the norm to arrive. Adding to that shipping co's are crazy busy trying to keep up which in some cases makes the wait just that much longer.
Everyone wants to get you looked after and are doing the very best they can.

Pops apparently got bored with the factory jam on his AMG S-Coupe. So he ordered a Renntech tune that apparently adds 100hp/100tq to the unit. I was skeptical that his $3500 OBD plug would do a damn thing TBH but his money. Came in yesterday, he asked me to swing by and help him install. Literally took a minute to flash the tune. Like " uhhhh I guess it worked" fast. Took it out for rip with him driving to see if there was a noticeable difference fully expecting the "ummmm I suppose it feels a little faster" but no. This fucker now is a certified ripper. Like went from fast to holy fuck Im seeing plaid.

I recall reading on this type of thing. There's a principal in our brains they prey on. It's priced low enough that it's a screaming deal but not "Absurdly cheap". So our brain just thinks "oh I gotta jump on this before someone else snipes it from me or the seller realizes they priced too low. In turn many will overlook glaring flaws/inconsistencies with the transaction that we would otherwise scrutinize on a normal deal.

Monday morning call was they stole the battery out of our rough terrain forklift and fucked with the wiring. Last night on another site they smashed all the lights on our telehandler and tried to put something in the fuel tank.

Couple this with many guys not wanting to work because you know, pandemic, and difficulty in getting the jobs to begin. Had a number of big ones that were supposed tobe locks not go because of all the unrest in the world right now and businesses afraid of a big economic tailspin. It's a nightmare right now.

Having equipment damaged sucks. My company had the windows smashed out of a few pieces one night a while ago. Insurance covered most of it but still, between the deductible and downtime it is still a hit. We also once had all the side glass stolen out of a bobcat. Yep, they unbolted the trim and took the glass. Door stolen off another bobcat, two bobcats stolen. Truck stolen from a guys driveway.

Ok, so that's over 6 years but man that is a lot of stolen and damaged stuff. And that's not including all the times that someone has poked around machines without damaging them when they sit at site for snow clearing.

As for asshole customers yeah, my company no longer deals with the public for a reason. I think everyone should work a retail or public facing job at some point. I wound up running a landscape supply yard in my 30s after my previous industry took a massive dive and I needed a job. It really gave me a new appreciation of what people deal with and how awful some people are.

I missed out on solid deals for cobras over the last few years and now kicking myself in the ass for it. Watched some YouTube videos and got a good brush and went to work. The cleaning is the most important part, and do it in the shade and smaller areas at a time. Only took about 15 mins of actual working time to do.

The kit contains enough to do the car twice. I was going to do mine when I took it out of storage, but it still looks good and the water beads right up like nothing. I'm going to save the 2nd half for maybe August.

The Halton Regional Police Service has received numerous complaints from across the region regarding loud and unnecessary noise from motor vehicles which have been modified by removing the mufflers, or modifying the exhaust system.
It’s been observed through recent proactive enforcement that this unnecessary noise often connects to other crimes. The unnecessary noise can be accompanied by other illegal vehicle modifications, unsafe vehicle conditions and aggressive driving behaviours.
The Halton Regional Police will be initiating Project #Noisemaker in response. The region-wide project will be launching today, June 10th 2020, and will run until October 31st 2020.
Project #Noisemaker aims to address concerns of motor vehicles with illegal modifications, unsafe motor vehicles, and aggressive driving.
As part of Project #Noisemaker, Officers from District Response Teams and Regional Traffic Services will collaborate with partner agencies on several tasks. These include conducting inspections through an Operation Wreck Check.

I need to find an intermittent issue, feels like my fox doesn't run on all 8's... a bit of a sputter or misfire. I can't remember if it did it pre-wire tuck though LMAO... I'm going to strengthen my grounding setup and check the coil wire. I suspect it's my MSD coil, I never learn I seem to need to buy a new one every 3 years lol

Flashing faster than normal. LED's have lest resistance than the stock incandescent so it triggers the fast blink like a bulb out. You need to add inline resistors or a modified flasher module to correct. I'm trying the cheap $10 resistor fix first.

I would have never guessed that. If that happened to me I’d probably cry. Good example would be, I went to see ZR and he informed me that my boost setup is working correctly cause who ever installed it set it up like a dummy. I’m running hot and the car is t getting the boost. I’m debating taking it out or having him re do it.

you can get around this by changing the relay also. I think superbrightleds.com sells them.
