Had talented tint tech strip and re-tint all windows on the Impala. Who would have thunk film thats been on since 1995 could be such a freakin chore. He started at 9:30am n didn't roll outta here till gone 7pm which included me helping to re and re door panels. Removed rear seats, parcel shelf, speakers n inner panels day before.
Thankfully effort was worth it, bubbling purple mess is gone, car looks crisp n clean like it deserves.
Upside to the ordeal, better understanding why almost no one was willing to tackle the job, yes regardless of my offering to pay a premium.
Also got lucky with new engine oil cooler hoses arriving late in the day, get those installed today plus seat back in which will mean car is ready to head off to it's new owner.

Magnesium deficiency is pretty common and causes crap sleep. One of the symptoms is being able to get to sleep fairly easily but waking up in the middle of the night and being unable to fall back to sleep. I take a magnesium before bed. Apparently zinc is good to combine with this, I have yet to try. Vitamin d can cause sleep issues. I take mine in the morning with breakfast. Exercise and fitness make a big difference for a lot of things. You're useless to those counting on you if your health takes a dump.

Same here - Vitamin D with K2 in the morning (to avoid kidney stones) and magnesium at night. Did zinc before but didn't continue - had read a couple things about issues with zinc supplements but haven't had time to research it.

can you post your vitamin d with K2 suppliment. I think this might explain my occasional kidney pain.

At the time I got my current D/K2 supplement I had to buy separately but I see my local health food store now has a combined supplement which I'll have to look into when my current rotation needs replenishing.

I'm currently taking SISU 1000 IU Vitamin D supplement plus a separate Natural Factors K2 100 mcg supplement. K2 helps get the calcium absorption from the D to your bones and not in your blood to the kidneys to calcify.

I also do a timed release 1000 mg Vitamin C around mid-day a few hours after the D/K2 dose (but that has nothing to do with the D/K2).

Ok feeling good to an extent... despite my current leadership role and MBA and all that jazz...

I'm going back into the basics, web development (MEAN stack developer). I'm tired of dealing with people, even in my neighborhood I'm faced with political challenges (more on that later). I just want a list of action items and left alone to accomplish them. Meaning I can telecommute for my next role 100%. Make less money but have control over my schedule. This will also bootstrap my goals for buying a larger land / smaller house (albeit that plan is a "living document" and changing rapidly). The leadership role I'm in is great for the ego but the ego is just a beast within with an insatiable appetite. I'm a very simple person and happy with a beer in hand and a wrench in the other. I don't need an office job to feel happy about myself. In fact, I keep questioning my existence. lol

Back to politics. I have been diagnosed with a few things... to name a few, ADHD, OCD, depression, anxiety, and I'm on the spectrum for autism (I won't even get into my phobias). Which means I can literally be retarded for certain things (ok, many things). lol Now my neighbors have rambunctious kids, they're loud and don't listen well. I like things in order, clean and quiet. So I really do not appreciate having their kids over and I can't be around groups of people for too long. So some people are seeing me as a grumpy old guy (which is probably accurate) and pontificating to "kick me out of the group" lol Which is fine, I can concentrate on my own things. But don't ask me to fix your plumbing, your cars, help plan landscaping and build things for you anymore though...

I hate myself. lol Sorry for the rant.

Getting the run around by appliance stores regarding stock, the earliest I might be able to receive one is end of June or beginning of July. All I have for back up is a mini beer fridge, I'm screwed.

I spend roughly $1200 to commute to work on average per month, I spend a minimum of 35 hours /month commuting. I am 110% certain the government will punish people in my tax bracket further so taking a smaller role will be about the same at the end of the day as far as "take-home pay" is concerned without the hassle of managing people, budgets, strategies and an endless supply of retarded meetings to make those with less than average mental acuity feel good about themselves.

It's funny how most companies are talking about long-term work from home strategies... my company is making a strategy to bring back the 100% not allowed to WFH policy again. On my mind...

I'm not entirely sure how I got into my current role, I'm good at it there's no doubt (I take my job seriously even if I hate it so much, I never want to lower the quality of my output) but after tasting leadership and project management... meh. I prefer being a programmer. I'm just not sure yet if it's the environment I'm in or the actual role (I'm told by leadership that I'm too "forward-thinking" for the org and I need to take a few steps back). But my closest friends say I'm a creator/builder/problem solver and I should be in a role that allows me to build in some capacity. Be it programmer, product owner, or even business consultant helping businesses find opportunities through process engineering... I guess it makes sense I started my career as a graphic designer back in 1995 and got into web a few years later. I do know I want to work for a company that allows telecommuting to some degree and once forced back in the office 955, I may just quit. Life is too short to spend 2+ hours a day on the 401, I can better use my time to be productive and offer more value to whatever org that will have me.

My learning of MEAN stack is going strong, I'm planning on making a backspace calculator for the foxbody. My skills should be updated in a couple of months and will face any interview test they can throw at me. I've been using Javascript since it was pretty much created lol. Come at me bro! lol

As for the alt, all too common. When replacing be sure to remove n clean the main ground when it's connected at the motor mount. To replace, well worth the effort to remove battery n battery tray first, most of the job is easier done from below. Most reliable replacements we've seen, Ford Remans.

after busting my ass for the last few weeks. putting all my stuff off to pick up the slack of guys being off, I told everyone that today is MY day.

weather was suppose to be beautiful so im replacing the sending unit and fuel gauge on the old car so I can go for a cruse.

so started the day up early. wife wanted to get kitchen supplies. fine should be a 2 hour trip max. FIVE HOURS LATER! home after lunch. phone rings. brother I need help moving a fridge and stuff. dad can help but we don't have carts or a truck. "here are the keys to the work truck. and my shop carts are in the back. have at it, im working on the car today"

phone rings. its the mother in law, we just got back and need help moving furniture. ugggg..

finally shortly after 3 I get started on the car. fight with it for 2 hours get it all buttoned up. brand new fuel gauged with a brand new sending unit. doesn't work properly gauge pegs backwards below empty as soon as I power it.

think maybe its because the car was originally positive ground and now its negative. so switch the leads. and it pegs all the way to the full.

dosnt seem to be a broken or grounded wire so I need to pull the tank again. see if the float is hung up. If not then one of them is bad,

As for the alt, all too common. When replacing be sure to remove n clean the main ground when it's connected at the motor mount. To replace, well worth the effort to remove battery n battery tray first, most of the job is easier done from below. Most reliable replacements we've seen, Ford Remans.

after busting my ass for the last few weeks. putting all my stuff off to pick up the slack of guys being off, I told everyone that today is MY day.

weather was suppose to be beautiful so im replacing the sending unit and fuel gauge on the old car so I can go for a cruse.

so started the day up early. wife wanted to get kitchen supplies. fine should be a 2 hour trip max. FIVE HOURS LATER! home after lunch. phone rings. brother I need help moving a fridge and stuff. dad can help but we don't have carts or a truck. "here are the keys to the work truck. and my shop carts are in the back. have at it, im working on the car today"

phone rings. its the mother in law, we just got back and need help moving furniture. ugggg..

finally shortly after 3 I get started on the car. fight with it for 2 hours get it all buttoned up. brand new fuel gauged with a brand new sending unit. doesn't work properly gauge pegs backwards below empty as soon as I power it.

think maybe its because the car was originally positive ground and now its negative. so switch the leads. and it pegs all the way to the full.

dosnt seem to be a broken or grounded wire so I need to pull the tank again. see if the float is hung up. If not then one of them is bad,

so much for the cruse I wanted this evening.

I don’t have kids yet but as a brother and a son I still feel your pain for being the as I call it “ the go to donkey”. It sucks when you need a day to get your own shit done and people still call like crazy.

I’m sorry you couldn’t find the gauges. But tomorrow is a new day and perhaps will some sleep you’ll figure it out in a timely manner. Good luck

T56 behind a stockish engine, unless you have a huge gear in the rear, will all but never use the top gear.
Did a Viper spec T56 behind my 2000GT sporting a Saleen M90 kit with 373's out back, worked very very well but think a hair more gear would have worked even better.

I have a stag 2 racing clutch with a V2 blower. With 3.73s in the rear. Would a T56 help achieve better power for the time being before I swapped the motor in later years ?

IMHO, seeing a Centri set up makes less low mid torque, think you would be disappointed changing the trans first unless you went to at least 4:10's or taller out back.

Hi. Yes. You won't notice any improvement. If anything feels a little slower off the line. Only part I like is with my 4.10s its not screaming as high on highway.

Yes. Did the swap a few years ago. It's documented somewhere on here.

For reference my car setup is a stock bottom end 2V, Comp 262ah cams, ported C&L plenum and TB, Vortech V3 with a 10# pulley, Snow Meth kit, T56 swap using the factory steel flywheel and a centerforce DF clutch, aluminum driveshaft to the factory 8.8 with moser axles and 4.10 gears/trutrac.
