today started out with a dentist appointment (found out I have a cavity and will need to go back.)
followed by 4 hours of interviews for our delivery position. ( I get more stressed out interviewing potential people then I ever did being the one going in for an interview)
followed by loading the scrap truck that my guys were suppose to do last Thursday and didn't so I get to do it last minuet.
Followed by "oh your here good can you fix this while I wait"
followed by doctors apt. confirming I have Carpal Tunnel in both wrists. (probably to advanced for shots so referred to a specialist. will most likely need surgery.)
followed by 4 hours framing in the new kitchen.

Got home from work today and said it’s 15 degrees out. To hell with the kitchen.

Installed the carb on the Plymouth. Primed it. Half choke. Key on. Hit starter. 3 cranes and vroom. Choke closed and it settled into a nice smooth idle. Drove it out of the back yard and around the block once.

Got to get a couple small things buttened up then get it booked it to have the exhaust done properly. And she should be good for summer Cruzin.

I just used the same touch up paint pens- in my case matched up a dark gun metal colour- comes with clear coat other end.
There’s various videos on YouTube curb rash repair.
May not be perfect but for me it was good enough for the rash I had.I’m always hugging the curb corner spot so I was thinking it did not warrant the cost of sending wheel in for full repair for the amount of rash I had.

I went to Canadian tire lol
That’s the part that took long- maybe longer than the repair :)brought the wife for second set eyes to find one that’s close- since mine is dark I knew as long as I didn’t lean lighter it would be ok
- i ended up with a gm colour code pen,
Mav this was my 2nd pen too- 1st wasn’t as close as I wanted- but 2 pens and various grade sandpaper for repair I didn’t mind$$$

Oh Mav my wheel is not a Ford wheel so my pen colour may not be the one you need.

Well double check those paint chips on display- as long as it’s close enough it blends in. U can save a total wheel repair if u bend or gouge your wheel worse than it is,besides when the itch comes you’ll be getting a second set of wheels (rims)anyway .

my wife has been home with the litter for a long time - I had to work harder but I think nothing would of changed paying for daycare - she has been driving the school bus for a few years now and often thought of getting full time work - I said to her it's not worth it, driving the bus is perfect because the kids still need her - it's been hard but she is home with them on summer vacation - maybe things will change when the last few are finally done - but I think it was the best thing for us...in many cases I find woman to be more valuable in the community - I meet a lot of woman truck drivers and to honest most of them are superior and don't complain half as much as the men...lol

I have to add one more thing to this quote - sorry it's just me and it's been bugging me all night - when my grandmother was a young woman she worked at a fireworks company down on Lakeshore Road near Port Credit - I haven't been there for a while but I'm certain the building is still there. The factory employed mostly woman. During World War II my grandfather went to war and the fireworks factory was transformed into a facility that produced ammunition for the war. The vast majority of the workers there where woman, simple because all the men went war. Years later my grand father built a home in Port Credit and this woman raised 12 children and continued and continued to work. I'm not only proud of the fact that I'm the oldest grandchild to a woman who was the jell that held my large family together, but a woman who was a huge part of history with many other woman like her. Like most woman she never complained and only wanted what was best for her men and the country. When push come to shove woman are in most cases the strongest.

I have to add one more thing to this quote - sorry it's just me and it's been bugging me all night - when my grandmother was a young woman she worked at a fireworks company down on Lakeshore Road near Port Credit - I haven't been there for a while but I'm certain the building is still there. The factory employed mostly woman. During World War II my grandfather went to war and the fireworks factory was transformed into a facility that produced ammunition for the war. The vast majority of the workers there where woman, simple because all the men went war. Years later my grand father built a home in Port Credit and this woman raised 12 children and continued and continued to work. I'm not only proud of the fact that I'm the oldest grandchild to a woman who was the jell that held my large family together, but a woman who was a huge part of history with many other woman like her. Like most woman she never complained and only wanted what was best for her men and the country. When push come to shove woman are in most cases the strongest.

Ok so I'm finally working remotely and working very hard actually to ensure my teams can also work remotely. I'm kind of stuck at home, wife won't let me out. Lots of beer, tequila, scotch, vodka and all that but I'm out of Skittles and my wife is PMSing HARD! So yesterday was my 15 th day of 14 day isolation. Was happy to get out of the house and stock up on groceries and let’s not kid ourselves the LCBO. My local Supermarket was well organized with staff wiping down carts , showing what cashier to line up in front of etc..... here’s my rant - Fuck tards as humans - not everyone but one women who had all 3 of her kids there ( ages 8 months - 3 years approx) kids are hanging off the carts sniffling/sneezing and have nasty blankets with them in the cart. This person tries not once but twice to bud in line and came way to close to me in the cashier line and I politely asked her to move back. She is then asked by the staff of the supermarket to take a spot at the back of the line and she gave this poor staff member attitude, also line was only 4 people so no biggy ...Don’t bring kids to supermarket during these times especially 3 with sniffles ! Rant over...hate stupid people....

If there has been any good from all this - so far - my 18 year old gamer is getting board and tired of being closed in and hasn't been able to leave the house for a few weeks now. He's actually looking for things to do and help out with - I think it won't be long before I can finally get him down in the garage and teach him how to use his hands and mind in other ways....and I have the perfect project in mind for him - this was his bike and he neglected to keep the oil topped up - he started to work on it and then gave up - the fuel tank was plastic and cracked from the fuel and leaking - a replacement tank was almost as much as the bike so I decided to build a 225 custom (this one is four stroke)…

Dirty ol bastard is still locked up. not sure if I posted before. had it booked in to get eh exhaust done. dropped it off and the next day the shop owner shut down the shop. had said is was suppose to be till the first of April. but have not heard an update yet.

I am bored out of my mind. Living in a condo sucks ass. Someone in my building has Covid but I am told in an email from our Property Management that they are in isolation.

Yikes, I can't imagine being stuck in the concrete jungle. I'd be too paranoid to use the amenities too. I guess I'd be playing xbox or drinking on the balcony.
