I guess I can checkout myself faster so prefer to go that way. Retail bank side fee profit doesn't necessarily drive the record profits (I get free banking at 2 banks) - usually things like trading/wealth management, net interest income, etc, drive the profits.

The passenger side hit on one vehicle looks like it caused a lot of damage....and maybe if someone wasn't wearing a seatbelt also.

Thousands of these all over the back lane directly in front of my garage. Not exactly marbles, they are soft and squishy, a bit like paint balls, but filled with some kind of gel. Spent an hour with the shop vac cleaning them all up and power washing the slimy gel off the road.

My first work term at UW was at Western Foundry (now Wescast). There was a engineering challenge there to determine how far a human could walk across molten steel. They factored in such things as the buoyancy of a human in molten steel and the melting point of bone. They figured you could run across the surface of one of the melting furnaces and survive.

Needless to say, I did not write my work term report on this thesis.

Having no idea why he pipes and never asked, but know its what his family does and respect that. Maybe his mom is Scottish? Being of French background and known as a true Acadian, always thought the bag pipes as a hideous sound and never really understood the use of that painful noise. But today alone at home (a rare occurrence in this house), two good stiff shots of Crown, just as Peter was warming the pipes, and it was at that moment. The Crown kicked in as the stress of the day flushed away, and I heard it, as he whaled some foreign Gaelic notes of love, welcome and history. It was then, I came to this conclusion. The sound, the booze, and the march into battle for love and honor?. Was this mans escape before the garage, before Fortnite, before the Mustang...?

This story is based on true facts. Peter does live in my basement and pipes with a Scandinavian name. He loves my Acadian daughter born from a Polish/Scottish/Ukranian descent mother (AKA The High Commander). This is also an exercise in writing without personal pronouns and without undertones of racism. Racism a word that is really fairly recent to an accepting Canadian Culture and is holding back the process of a united society. If you need proof of accepting Canadians just look back to 911 and the east coast as they welcomed displaced people into their homes, from around the world in good old fashioned, Canadian Hospitality, loaded with humanity and not an ounce of racism. That's the Canada I grew up in! Canada before the word racism! Canada that accepts the world and offers unconditional love and help to all...! Google "3M eraser wheel". If you don't want to tackle film or stripes yourself, talk to Laurence (Scrape) he can probably help you out with your detailing needs.

During my Health Unit days, I always recommended some form of treatment for a dug well. The water tests may be ok, but sooner or later you will have un-invited guest in your water. If the water is clear, an ultra-violet water treatment system is effective and cheap.

My post notes pellets which is the post-processing product. There were some Ontario court cases a few years back from people living around farms that were using the pellets/sludge and claims it was making them sick (primarily during the application period; airborne). IIRC I believe some of what I read was based on farming areas outside of Orangeville. This article refers to use of it in/around Barrie. Maybe things have changed now?

thanks. losing faith in drs. been years like this now where they don't really have an answer. they are pretty sure despite the stroke like symptoms its not strokes. one "specialist" took one look at an mri and said. degenerative vestibular something something.
when they asked him what they should do he said. Nothing go home and enjoy life. we cant o anything about it, eventualy it will lead to dementia. could take 4 years could take 20.

other drs didn't seem to agree. has been on a waiting list for a year to see another specialist. she cant work, and had to fight with her union to be able to be put on disability.

they are stuck in this doom and gloom acceptance.

at least with this last episode being more serious. it sounds like she is getting bumped to the front of the line for the specialist. but is stuck waiting for a bed to open up

sometimes seems to be the case. at least this time they are keeping her for observation but saying it could be a couple days before a bed opens up in the stroke unit. worst is just not knowing what is up. they say it could be this or this or this. you might be fine or you could die. we don't really know. I couldn't imagine getting away with that with customers. though I'm sure the human body is slightly more complicated than a dishwasher

A 50-metre long, blood-red cloth bearing the names of each child and the schools they attended was unfurled and carried through a gathered crowd of Indigenous elders and chiefs, residential-school survivors and others, many of whom openly wept.

The list and the ceremony are intended to break the silence over the fates of at least some of the thousands who disappeared during the decades the schools operated.

God damn it. Trying to get my wood shop set up in the basement so I can get started on Christmas stuff need to run a 4 inch vent pipe outside to my dust collector

Stop at the rental place this am on my way threw knowing I would not get a chance this aft. Told him I need a core bit big enough to fit a 4 inch pipe threw the hole. No problem. Loads it all up.

I throw it in The truck. Work day gets crazy get done about 6. Ram some food down my gullet and go to the hospital to visit mom.

Leave early. Get home grab the drill out of the truck. Take it out back. Pull out the core bit. 3 3/4 inch.
Wtf!

Started with a smaller King bench top one but it only really worked for one thing at a time.

Picked this one up and is much better for permanent ducts with a run to everything. Then hit up lea valley for shut offs and boots.
I just use 4 inch metal dryer duct so it has to be grounded.

I run a big plastic barrel just before this collector. That is made to remove the big stuff.

I think I’m just more annoyed because I left the hospital early to try and get the hole done before the kids were in bed.

Good news is mom is doing really well. Seems to be her old self. Just having balance issues. She wants to go home but the dr is wanting to get her into the Stratford hospital still so she gets priority for the specialist.
If a bed doesn’t open up in the next day or two they will have to send her home and she will be stuck back in the outpatient waiting list.

I have my wood shop in the basement with my D/C in my garage, 3 main D/C connection points in the shop, controlled by blast gates. Adding a D/C to your shop is a huge upgrade, you will love it

my next upgrade I want a hood for the dust collector at my sanding spot. should eliminate the need for a big fan and filter. dust collector moves enough air, Im hoping in the smaller basement space it will create negative pressure so it should be good for paint and stain fumes as well.
