On me mind... time for oil change on the 17... and woke up thinking I was having a stroke or something - total tightness in the chest, I think it's a back pain though, I'd be dead by now if it wasn't lol Anyway I need to move a ton of lumber this afternoon, if my ticker is weak, it will pop today for good.

local radio station hosts, last world cup, and during another local event. "I just wish they would let bars serve alcohol earlier so you could go with your buddy's and watch a game while having a beer." "it would be nice if they would make a rule for these type of events so bars don't close as early or can open up earlier, think about it it would be a good bit of extra revenue"
same hosts this am. "I mean who was even asking for this hour change for alcohol? why does it even matter? you know what it was, just Doug Ford sitting around drunk with buddy's, complaining cuz they want more beer"

Gonna have to take a rip in the Coyote today, get it off the hoist. Need to get an oil change done and whatnot too. Can't wait to daily it to save on gas money and reduce risks of speeding tickets. I'm terrible in the G37 because I feel like no one suspects the car but I've been hovering over 170kmh on the 407 and I've pushed my winter tires near 200kmh on an offramp. It's ridiculous, I don't normally do that. In the Mustang I put the cruise at 120 and enjoy my V8 sound from the comfort of the slow lane LOL
So messed up!

In a post on social media, Bouman emphasised the collaborative efforts that had made the imaging of the black hole possible.
“No one algorithm or person made this image, it required the amazing talent of a team of scientists from around the globe and years of hard work to develop the instrument, data processing, imaging methods, and analysis techniques that were necessary to pull off this seemingly impossible feat,” said Bouman. While their discovery was made in June, it was only presented to the world by all 200 researchers on Wednesday.

Union dues-paying workers comprised 31.8% of all employees in Canada in 2015

Saskatchewan 30.9

Union folk plus there family’s. Plus all their students
Don’t know how many but enough to get us 15 years of liberals despite reckless spending and horrible mismanagement
I’m not the one who said majority. I said a lot. Don’t put words in my mouth then throw stats out to “prove me wrong”
30% of people are unionized When only around 60% actually vote and the unions they follow are some of the biggest donators to certain political party’s and the unions tell their members how to vote.
I’d say it’s kind of relevant

I have one just like that, I like it better then the hammer blocks and think it does a better crimp. Only thing to make sure is that it does the right gauge wire, for some reason some of them don’t have a 4 gauge insert. In the past for 0 i soldered but used the crimp this time and its 80% the result of hydraulic crimpers

RRSP's are tax deferral. You'll eventually need to get that money out. Trying to get it back at a lower tax rate isn't easy. Also consider that the tax rates will most likely be higher when you do want to get that money out. Tax rates rarely drop.

Could just mean your employer was deducting too much from paycheck (or your credits, etc outside of employment tipped the balance in your favour) whereas now you just borrow the money from taxpayers interest free until it's due...your tax return when filed is like an invoice you have to pay whereas paying the taxes during the tax year is essentially "pre-paying" before you have to.

If your not setup on payroll or if you draw more than what you are set up on payroll for, you will owe - all write offs are percentage based - so what percentage is not written off will become income the account will determine this - either way we pay lol sometimes you can share income with your wife and other family members

Copy and pasted from a Facebook post Mike Rowe shared
“The Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris caught fire and the world watched it burn. The only word that comes to mind is “tragedy.” A real tragedy.
I never got to see the Cathedral of Notre Dame. Though, I had a chance once when I was nineteen. A girl I was dating from Dothan was going to France on scholarship. She asked me to go with her.
It was a bad idea. I am a small-town American who has never traveled overseas. The idea of leaving U.S. soil makes me break out in hives—I wouldn’t survive the Turkish toilets.
I told her to send me a postcard. I never saw her again.
But I always wanted to go. In fact, there are only a few things I’d like to see in person before I die:
The World Series. The Dixie Belle Riverboat. And the spires of Notre Dame de Paris.
I guess I missed my chance.
Today, my wife and I were riding through the Arizona wilderness after spending a weekend at the Grand Canyon. The local radio station interrupted George Strait to announce that Notre Dame was on fire.
My wife turned up the volume. A reporter with a heavy French accent said:
“Ze greatest relic of our civilization is engulfed in flames.” The announcer’s voice broke with emotion. “It is a tragedy, people, a true tragedy…”
My wife covered her mouth.
We pulled over at a burger joint outside Flagstaff, not far from historic Route 66. And in the all-American diner we watched the corner television broadcast a scene from Hell.
A flaming cathedral roof, falling to pieces. Dante’s Inferno.
“I been there once,” said our waitress, filling my coffee mug. “My family’s Italian Catholic, we saw the cathedral last year and my grandpa was holding my hand all along the tour, crying at the relics.”
“We’ve been there, too,” said another man who was eating lunch with his daughter. “Visited one summer, took my breath away.”
The man’s daughter nodded in agreement and kept working on her French fries.
“I couldn’t believe the rose windows,” our waitress went on. “I probably took a hundred pictures of the windows alone.”
The windows she’s referring to are the famous circular stained glass works, adorning the cathedral’s main portals.
The waitress showed us pictures on her phone. Those at the lunch counter craned necks to get a glimpse. We marveled.
The waitress replaced her cellphone in her pocket and made the Sign of the Cross.
“Just think,” said the waitress, “that building dates back to the days of Saint Francis of Assisi.”
It was sobering. My wife couldn’t eat her hashbrowns because she was watching the devastation. I saw a tear in the corner of her eye.
My wife tells me she once stood in Notre Dame, looking at its rafters, and she felt something deep. Awe, maybe.
“Uh oh,” a man said. “Look.”
It happened. The television showed footage of Notre Dame’s French Gothic spire, falling downward into a blaze. It toppled headfirst.
People in the restaurant let out small gasps. An old man sighed. So did the waitress. So did I.
I suppose we all knew what this meant. It meant the wooden lattice work that predates our surnames is gone. Certainly, it might be rebuilt someday, but it will never be what was lost.
Thus, on a quiet Monday afternoon, somewhere in America, my wife and I ate lunch in the company of fellow mourners.
We were five thousand miles away, in a side-of-the-road eatery, but in our hearts we were standing in the City of Lights across the Atlantic.
We watched, shaking our heads, biting our lips, and a few of us wiped our eyes.
Images of flames. European reporters wearing looks of disbelief. An eight-hundred-and-fifty-year-old holy monument, reduced to ashes.
It was not just a chapel, our waitress explained.
It was a subject of Impressionist paintings. It was a muse for Victor Hugo’s literary masterpiece. It contains what many believe to be the crown of thorns from the Crucifixion.
After our waitress served her last customer, she removed her apron and walked outside. I could see her through the diner window. She sat with hands clasped and head bowed.
I paid at the register. I took a final glance at the disturbing scenes on TV and realized I will never get to see it. At least not the way it was.
In the parking lot, I passed our waitress, seated on a bench. I couldn’t make out what she was saying, but I caught a few words.
“Áve María, grátia pléna,
Dóminus técum…”
It was a tragedy. A real tragedy.“
A lot of people are quick to attack and denounce people who have faith. I find it better to make an attempt to understand.
This is a true loss to a lot of people and a lot of people are willing to pay to save it.
To me better than The people willing to pay millions for a shoe some famous person wore. (As an example)

I know that it's a Cathedral, and obviously a lot of religious significance attached to it, but to me i view it as a tremendous architectural loss. I would feel the exact same loss if the Blue Mosque or Angkor Wat were destroyed.

It's amazing how they managed to build such a thing considering how little "perceived" knowledge they had back then. Weren't glasses invented after? Significant milestone in human history culturally and architecturally. No doubt. I'm just not religious.

I studies art history thru high school and a bit in college of course we touched architecture as well - it was pretty amazing the engineering in the old buildings and the size. If I remember correctly it took several decade to completed this building. Every era was known for it contribution to structure. I belief this building in particular was most known for the flying buttress structure. It's fascinating stuff an I'm motivated to revision my old studies and relearn how great arch lecture was and its importance. I'll new forget my art teacher Miss Clarke fascinating a patient woman. We studies art history during the spilt class and ever time the slide projector started up I would always fall asleep. Miss Clarke's response was always "don't brother him, let him sleep, he must be tired" lol she was one of those great teachers you new forget

Against docs suggestion, been pushing my knee exercises / stretches harder, seeing improvements. Felt good enough, stroll around the block seemed like a good idea, knee said otherwise at about the half way point n puffed up like a balloon by the time I got home. Maybe regroup with more exercise push n try it again in a day or so. Still a bunch better vs where I was a week ago so life is goooooooooooooood.

Listen to your body, it will tell you when you've had enough. Don't be a hero though, the only one that will suffer for it is you.
Speaking of exercising, I do very regularly but I don't feel like I need to share that with the world. It has nothing to do with your post ZR, just made me think of something that pushes my buttons. Steering/front end feel sucks, drivability fucking sucks, all the unfinished stuff or rushed together last minute odds and ends on the car drive me nuts. Exciting day!
Last night went and bought a Spec stage 2+ clutch and flywheel (need to get the right clutch disc as spline count is different) hung out and talked with seller for a while (I believe he is on here)
Today dropped off the mustang at Bruce's to get the hood painted and then my brother and I went to the states and picked up my new trans. It was incredibly well packed and CBI was awesome.
Had lunch and came back, boarder guy was into cars and somehow waved us by even after being honest with the value.
Can't wait to get a couple more pieces and go visit Rick!
Debate now is do I spend an additional $550 for a MGW right off the back or try the 13 stock shifter for a bit first?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190427/cae98c27ec3a55982f712614c3aced3d.jpg

Also impressed with the MPG of the coyote. Has 100 more HP and takes relatively the same fuel as the performance 110+ k Lexus hybrids. I get 8.5 to 9 l/100km average on the 407.

On the 407 I was going 115 and an unmarked charger followed for a bit too, he kept it at a pace that was about 4 cars behind me, pretty consistent until I exited the highway. Maybe he was waiting for me to race someone or something lol

LOL! They offer a "driver's passport" so they get the food item with a mocktail/non-alcoholic drink so others can get the regular food/wine tasting passport. They are mini-servings (about the size of a slider). Most places will gladly offer you extra wine tastings so as long as you're not driving.....
This looks like a good service but it doesn't appear they offer weekend service yet ::waiting:
