Fox broke down on me tonight... was just idling after a 5 min drive and bam stalled. Cranked it a few times and the starter is fine, battery is fine. Tried push starting and still nothing. Fuel pump maybe? Whens Dr. ZR back from Woodward?

Do you hear the fuel pump when you turn the key on? If not check your inertia switch (think they had them then). If nothing heard after that, cycle the key on and take a rubber mallet to the bottom of your tank under the pump and bang it....hopefully the pump kicks in.

Feel legitimately super gutted about this. Hagarty was the perfect deal for someone like me who puts minimum mileage on a car that spends mos of its time tucked in a garage. I could stomach $600 a year to keep it road ready and insured to the hilt. But $1300 really makes me take pause.

What a friendly little dog though, I grabbed to wire I had to make a temp leash and went for a walk to find his owner, again nobody haas ever seen this dog.. Got him some water and I let him chill in the garage hoping somebody would come looking, an hour later I decided best spot for the owner to find him would be humane society, dropped him off and asked them to call me when/if the owner claims him.

Poor guy, just glad he found me and not got hit by a car.

In one week in June we found 2 small dogs running loose in our neighbourhood (2 separate days) - one we found their home quickly but the second dog took a couple hours and knocking on about 10 doors to track down the owners who were from a part of the subdivision that wasn't that close to us. They said she was an escape artist but usually went in the opposite direction but in this case they didn't know she had gotten out.

If you have those central mailboxes in your area I would recommend putting up a few signs as recommended^^^. I hope he wasn't dropped off/abandoned in your neighbourhood.

But good on you for actually doing something to help....hopefully they are a "no-kill" shelter.

I went and knocked on every door on my street, I live in a new area so there is only about 20 homes, I put him in my truck and drove across the Main Street to see if anyone looked like I would if my dog was missing, stopped into the few businesses that are here to see if anyone has popped by asking about the dog and nothing.

So we came home, had a drink and we sat for awhile on the front patio hoping someone would drive by looking for him.

We wAs clean and looked well cared for, his temperament alone makes me think he's well cared for.

I'll call the humane society tomorrow to check up on him, the girls at the desk when I brought him in said they hope nobody claims him because they will take him..

Mom had knee replacement today, she's doing well except having a cracked out piece of shit whore next to her, this chick was having freak out because the nurse wouldn't give her more medication .. Then the Dr came in said there is no way that she should feel anything with the meds given....got very heated after that.

Went to the nurses station to ask them to remove her or move my mother to another room, they were fantastic and came right in to ask my mother if she wanted to be moved, but she would be with out her TV for the night, problem is she can't sleep with out the tv so she is staying the night.

I had an 06 GT and been in 2011+ sixes. They feel the same power wise. The 3.7 can even sound good with some exhaust.

Well, I think it looks amazing, size or not. And the reviews so far is that it 'drives smaller than it looks'. Like, next to a Mustang, it doesn't look that much bigger (S197). It's pretty much in proportion to other muscle like it was back in the day. The weight of these cars has more to do with safety standards than it does with just plain old excess.

^^yup a 100% better look. The front end though looks HUGE compared to the 13 behind it - and that was already huge. I really wish we could have a relatively small car with a v8...all this HP but extra weight , oh well good time to be a car fan for sure!

The benefits of having a well cared-for weed-free luscious green lawn paid off this week.

My street.....is a shit-show of development right now and has been for 2+ years.....there's probably 12 builds happening simultaneously in a 1/2 km stretch....developers paying big money to tear down and then build big new places asking in the $2 million range

my side of the street has the gas line and sidewalk...so every time a new build starts on the other side of the street, the house on my side of the street gets it's front lawn ripped up for the gas connection

I walk by these properties daily....Enbridge crew removes a 6ft x 8ft section of the lawn...back-hoe comes in.....big mess...the lawn is left with this bare spot for the 3 months that it takes the city to get their act together for the sod guys to come out and lay down the weed-infested stuff they use

worse is when they nick the sidewalk.....then it gets patched with asphalt and sits that way for 2 years before the city gets on it and makes a 2-day concrete job into a 2 month ordeal of juggling digging, framing, pouring crews.....even better when these guys slice through your bell and/or rogers line while doing the concrete....then you're left dealing with Bell India etc

well....got a knock on the door a few weeks back....nice lady from Enbridge asking if I could come outside for a chat...I said "lemme guess....you're gonna rip up my beautiful lawn because that bastard developer is gonna ripp down the house across the street?"

she was sooo apologetic...and she said she was the same way and her lawn looks just like mine

so I asked a question...."do you guys have one of those hydro-excavation trucks?".....she said "yes we've love that truck"...and then said..."you know what...I'm going make a request that we use that on this job"

got a call Monday....Enbridge confirming that they're coming out Tuesday (yesterday) to do the job and that they'll be using the hydro-ex truck

got home home last night to see a 3ft x 1.5ft spot where they made the connection.....it's gonna take a bag of top-soil and a few handfuls of grass seed.....and 3 beers......and will look back to mint in about 2 weeks

Sadder for me is that my GT 5.0 naturally aspirated is rated 72 HP more than my F150 Harley 5.4 supercharged - and gets better fuel economy. The times they are a changin' (to quote Bob Dylan).

so....I'm into my 7th week back training after a 6 week layoff for my basement/gym reno

aside from a 10 day break in 2001 to drive my Dad's ashes across the country... I haven't taken more than a couple of days off in a row...in 29 years

it's a 4 day on 1 day off routine and I chuck around some half-decent weight imo

and in the past 7 weeks my brain has been on a mission......and I have pushed heavier weights for more sets and more reps than I have in a decade

I come upstairs after a workout...completely drenched and pumped and keep telling my wife that I'm not axcing my age down there

my advise to all is to pick an excercise or sport whatever/whenever and dedicate yourself for the long haul.....your body will love it....so will your brain
