I got 3" BL and the Edge Version has 2" blocks in back, I cranked the torsion bars up front to even it out. Got 4.56 gears waiting to be installed and wanted 37" tires lol... Oh well. I like the truck the way it is, minus the 3.73's with 33" tires.

DD needs to be dead-nuts reliable. Even if budget allows, I would not mod it. Don't need the insurance hassles either.

Hobby vehicle: go nuts.

I generally DD mod when OEM fails. Like if the struts go, replace with leveling kit bilsteins or better yet, Fox's with bypass and better springs. Wear out the tires, up size and get better. Blow the factory speakers and get some nicer ones and headunit.

When I t-boned a Jeep with my leveled, big tire, modded DD, my insurance guy told me they didnt total it because it was such a nice truck and replacing it would cost my insurance co more.

Not advocating strapping an exocage and nitrous in your DD, but like, making it your own and something you love to drive, fuck ya.

two things that piss me off and one that left me confused

I went to city hall yesterday to argue a parking ticket I got on my street. In speaking with the gentleman (nice guy) he mentioned that the first was from a complaint aka one of my neighbors called. Ive spoken to most of them before about leaving the car on the road as we don't have enough room on the driveway and no one cares or has issue. The only person we have thought that it could be was the guy across the street who turned off my mustang in the driveway that time, I also think the timelines were close together. Ive been angry for two days now, and have decided first snowfall I will be drawing a penis on his lawn.

Second piss off, I ordered Halo 5 last week with free shipping as the warehouse is in streetsville and I always get items the next day anyways. Apparently as the holidays approach regardless of the item being in stock they decided to sit on it and not ship it out for a week until 5am this morning with the intentions of delivery today. Fine thats what I get for not paying $3 in shipping... So I look at the tracking today and it went from mississauga to stoney creek (30 min west past my house) and now has updated showing delivery tomorrow aka monday. So ordering a video game I could have bought in store is now going to be in the 3rd week since ordering. Fuck you amazon.

Last update is the questioning one. Its actually good news. I got an email about scheduling an interview, only thing is I cannot find any email where I applied to it, no company web site. After confirming the date I casually asked for more info regarding the position (I like to be proactive) he said we can discuss during the interview. I dont want to go in blind but Ive done quite a bit of digging and cant find a thing about this company.

Rant on! I am not happy with my daughter's teacher. Mackenzie was so pumped to do a duet/solo for the school xmas concert. Came home today and the teacher crushed her by replacing her with another child. The reason? Two reasons in fact. First she was a little off pitch with her partner. Yesterday she wasn't. One time she was off pitch. Second, the child that replaced her is the same height as the other child. Which he also gave as a reason to my daughter. Keep in mind this isn't a professional choir. A school concert for crying out loud. NOT American Idol or the Voice. I've been to every concert each year. The kids are not all in tune. Does anybody complain? No! Everyone claps because this a damn public school xmas concert. I've spoken with her teacher and expressed my extreme disappointment in how this has played out. I'm giving the teacher til Monday afternoon to rectify this situation. I will take it to the next level after that. Rant off

Most people have no idea the work and stress and sacrifice that top management and owners give to a business.

Will never happen. Society constantly demands lower prices but higher quality. At the same time we demand higher paying jobs.
You can't have it both ways. The reality is business are just that they are a business designed to make money. Not a charity to build product you sell at no profit to workers who you pay a premium.

I've heard this idea before, not against it fully I think Ben & Jerry ran this way. Not saying CEO's should be limited to 7x the earnings of the bottom employee I'm saying 500x or even 1000x limit. But I agree it's not a sustainable practice and socialistic. People voted in a liberal government in canada because of the "anti-rich" feeling they have towards harper. Problem is the governemnt can't or won't limit a multimillion dollar corporation and leave the small Corp who makes a whole lot less.

fact remains minimum wage work gets minimum wage pay. Used to be a time where if someone wanted to make a better wage they worked hard to better themselves to earn it. Now they want the governemnt to force someone whose done the work and made the sacrifice to get what they have for, to give to someone who just wants it handed to them.

I had an employee onc who did a good job. Every six months he was in saying he had a job offer for more money.

I was paying him 3 bucks an hour more than any other business in our area was paying guys to do the exact same thing.
Plus gave him a work vehicle that was his to use and let him take the scrap which equaled about 100 to 150 bucks a week in cash above an beyond his pay.
Still walked into the office on day and said he had another offer. Doing something completely different but payed 50 cents more per hour than I was paying him. Told him sorry. Between the pay and the scrap and the truck he's getting a very good wage.
He walked in that Friday dropped his keys on the desk and said see ya.
Kickers is my fuel bill dropped by 100 bucks a week after he left. So either he was driving a tank of gas a week outside work( he lived one block from the store) or he was using my gas card to fuel up his wife's truck too.

Moral is. Everyone says business need to treat employees better but there is no loyalty any more. So many take advantage just to up and leave the first glimmer of something they think might be better.

I'll never use a Samsung phone. My tablet is Samsung. It's about a year old and operates at half the speed it used to. I've done everything to speed it up including a factory reset. That's the one thing I like about iPhones. They work the same as the day you turn them on until they die. I've had every generation. My 5 was meh. So far my 6S is phenomenal.

we're into around week 19 or 20 of training and she's sticking to the programme religiously.....aka....her hard-ass personal trainer doesn't put up with bullshit excuses and she doesn't argue

she's tiny....but toned....and literally getting strong for her size....she has little biceps, triceps, delts, pecs, lats, traps, quads, glutes and hamstrings.....all wrapped up in a package that you have to grab to believe it's there

she hates leg workouts with a passion.....but she's walking around the house in yoga pants with tops that stop at the waist

Just meat and veggies.. But since I didnt have the starch in my diet I was ablle to increase my fat intake to make up for the lack of carbs. I stick to 25 grams of carbs per day.. I really don't miss it anymore.. Took me a few days to get the hang of it. Now I'm just coasting along.. If I have a burger, I just omit the bun, Pizza, I just eat the toppings.. lol

That's pretty much what I do.. SO I always make sure to order the double!! :D Sure I'll have a heart attack, but I'll be thin having it right!! LOL Oh and I'll probably need a new liver (if not already) hehe..

but I can tell you that all of the gains my wife has made from a training perspective are the result of workouts that take between 12-14 minutes....3 days on....1 day off....rinse and repeat.....we're talking about an hour and a half each week

the workouts do tend to get longer as the results materialize because that switch in your head gets flicked as you realize that the harder you push the better the gains

my advise is this

start with ab cruches every day...and I'm talking nothing...literally 30 seconds to start

plant your back on the floor with your legs up on the couch.....back and butt horizontal with the floor....thighs vertical up the side of the couch and lower legs horizontal on the couch seat

do 20 reps tomorrow...it'll take you 30 seconds
do 25 the next day
do 30 the next day
and keep adding 5 reps per day until you hit 1000 reps

when you hit 1000 reps...get back to me

the workout that I've got Jodi doing is as follows:

it's circuit-training style...so you pick your exercises...do one set of each exercise in a row...rinse and repeat....it's not hardcore where you do multiple sets of one exercise and pyramid the weight etc...there's no max weight reps etc....you're not trying to sculpt muscle or bend bars....you're just pumping to body up

Day 1 = Chest, Delts, Triceps
1) Incline dumbbell press for chest
2) Standing lateral raises for delts
3) Tricep push downs for triceps
reps per set range between 8-15 depending on the weight
so she goes from incline bench to laterals to push downs for one circuit...and then does that 5 times with almost zero rest in between sets
15 sets total.....takes about 12 minutes

Day 2 = Legs
1) Thigh extensions
2) Squats
3) Standing leg curls (standing on a yoga block with legs wieghts doing one leg at a time)
4) forward lunges
5 circuits = 20 sets *again...betwen 8-15 reps per set)......and it takes about 18 minutes...and with zero rest in between sets...it's a good, quick little ass-kicker
I'm there quickly putting the leg weights on and taking them off so there's no hold up in between sets

Day 3 = Back, Traps, Biceps
1) Wide grip Lat Pulldowns in front (bar pulled down to top of chest)
2) standing dumbbell shrugs
3) seated rows (close grip with the little V-shaped handle)
4) seated dumbbell curls
5 circuits = 20 sets *again...betwen 8-15 reps per set)......and it again takes about 18 minutes with zero rest in between sets

if you've got a half decent home set up with a good range of dumbbells then it's brain-dead-simple to set up your workout for the day in seconds

don't worroy about not having a cage for squats....you're not bending 400lbs on your shoulders....grab a dumbbell with both hands and hold t up against your chest and start squatting....and hold dumbbells in your hands for the lunges

there are countless exercises that you can swap in and out....but the key is to be consistent with the reps/weights and intensity on all body parts....so if you wanna go heavier for 8 reps per set on Day 1...then you're doing the same on day 2 and 3...wanna rep it out at 15 perset on day 1 then you're gonna love kicking the shit outta your legs on day 2
