Finally tracked down the short on a work topkick that caused the running lights to constantly pop fuses. Well I think I did at least. Give it a couple of days and we will know for sure. Also tuned up a stone saw so it runs way better and fixed the marker light on another topkick. That one was easy, just had to bend the contact in a little bit on the plug.

Took 20 minutes to be seated, served an hour after we were seated and stuffed with shitty bread. Bloated this morning like crazy, don't know what people like so much with places. Food is generic, probably just frozen and microwaved and served.

working fast and furious to get work done- decided to get Mcdee's breakdfast that put me into a food coma, locked the office door reclined in the lounger I have. I didn't expect to fall into deep " saliva drool " sleep and have a surprise visit from the supervisor and his higher up.
I think supervisor had an idea because he knocked pretty hard and I heard his keys jingling and struggling to open my door( office lock is flimsy/ smooth), just enough for me to spring up before they came in.

Saturday rant. Laying patios is a major PITA. Don't have the time or the help to get it all done in one shot. I've had to re pack and re level the sand bed three times because the wife seems incapable of keeping the kids and the dog off of it.
Was hoping to get it done this weekend. But the wife has to work today so I'm watchin the boys. Add to that its going to be supper hot which dries the sand out. (Dry sand don't stay packed so you can't walk on it. ) and tomorow they are talking rain. Was hopping to be able to enjoy the patio by next weekend but that doesn't look like it's going to happen.

Ok, so it's a 2015 GT Premium vert with auto, 3:55 rear and the 20" wheels - these are the options I was looking for. This Competition Orange one was at a dealer in Toronto and I had Blackstock in Orangeville bring it up. The car also came with nav and the rear park assist beep thing - neither of which I really care about but it seems all verts ordered up by the dealer have the nav option in them. The Premium comes standard with the rear view camera, accent interior lighting (currently set to orange, lol), heated and cooled seats and a few other things I'll prolly never use.

I installed the CDC light bar (JT's favourite mod) last evening after it stopped raining.

Went in for eye exam today, saw something sent me to Ophthalmologist right away. Apparently I have something called Uveitis, and have had it for a while which isnt good I guess. So now Im on 5 different eye drops hourly, and cant see shit, go for bloodwork Monday and follow up again.

So if my spelling makes no sense or I type nonsense, you know why lol.

I'm pretty sure I had this. After a couple misdiagnosis and trying a ton of different drops it cleared up. It lasted a couple weeks but Took me completely out of commission for a week and sadly my eyesight has degraded from the experience. My dusk vision is terrible. I'm perfectly fine during the day and dark night time. But when the sun has set but it's still light out my vision is blurry and headlights and street lights are 100x bigger and fuzzier than they normally are. It goes away after it gets dark but it's super annoying.

I'm super tired right now. My grammar is atrocious and my only saving grace with spelling is auto correct lol. I'll edit this in the morning I'm beat.

Words of advise. Pursue this aggressively. Get fixed quick. Save your vision.

Candy Bar Pie


Yield: 10 servings

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 30 minutes


This Candy Bar Pie is great for using up any leftover candy you have in your pantry. The base of the pie is a giant blondie and you simply fill it with your favorite candy, like peanut butter cups, Rolos, and M&Ms!

Ingredients:

•1 pie crust, from a pack of two or homemade
•1 cup brown sugar
•1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
•1 egg
•2 teaspoons vanilla extract
•1 teaspoon baking powder
•1/4 teaspoon salt
•1 cup flour
•1 cup candy bars (I used 8 miniature Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, about 15 mini Rolos, and a handful of M&Ms to make 1 cup)
•Extra candy for the top of the pie

Directions:

1.Preheat oven to 350°F.

2.Place pie crust in a 9” pie plate, crimping as desired. Press the sides of the crust so they are firmly attached to the edges of the pie plate.

3.Cream brown sugar and butter in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment (or you can use a hand mixer). Add eggs and vanilla and beat until combined. Add baking powder, salt, and flour and mix.

4.If you are using a stand mixer, add your candy bars to the bowl and mix on medium-high to chop of the candy. (The strength of the mixer is enough to break up soft pieces of candy, like Reese’s or Rolos.) If you’re using a hand mixer, coarsely chop the candy, the mix it into the dough.

5.Press into prepared pan (dough is sticky, spray your hands with cooking spray to avoid it sticking to your hands). Press some remaining candy on the top for decoration. Press the sides of the crust that are showing with the tines of a fork a few times.

6.Bake for about 24-30 minutes, until the crust is browned and the top of the pie is golden. It may still be a little jiggly in the center. Cool completely before cutting. Serve by itself or with whipped cream or ice cream.

It was almost like I had asthma.

The biggest thing with smoking, in my opinion, is simply the hand motion. Vape doesn't help cutting that out. Mind you that first smoke in the morning with my coffee is better than a bj (k maybe not that good). I smoke about a pack a day.. and only that much because I work outside, or I'm a little buzzed on the weekends :)

Want my actual experience ... when I wanted to smoke, I didnt. Maybe since cold turkey worked for me I am more skeptical of other means. Replacing smoking with inhaling other harmful chemicals is just that - replacing. Not quitting.

I didn't have one smoke while I was on it but like I said, felt shitty after the 6th week or so.

Kind of going into a job interview, I keep an open mind at other offers and if it makes sense I'll jump ship but I really like working where I am now. Never had such a great boss before, plus I can work from home, work 20 hours a day when it's crunch time and slack off when it isn't to balance things out. Didn't take a previous offer that was 20k more a year!!! I calculated that the government will take most of it away and at the end of the day, I'll be working for less because once you reach those kinds salaries, you work 80 hours a week (unless you're a politician). F that, life is too short for a few digits on a server's hard drive that tells you how much shit you can buy. Fuck the system, I won't let marketers tell me when I can be happy (by buying their shit).

My GF is what one may call a fairly active animal activist, so I've been inundated with this story from the onset. I don't agree with what he did in the least, but the death threats and forcing this guy in to hiding is mildly absurd as well. This pressure should be the governments of that region to ban baiting animals and maybe take a look at what they are allowing people to do in these areas just because they show up with dumb trucks full of cash.

Kimmel summed it up best IMO, if you're not hunting for food, or to control the population or for protection, and doing it just to mount shit on your walls so your buddies think you're cool, you're a tool.

nice dock to chill on and soak up the rays....and 82 steep steps up to the little 3 bedroom 1/bath cottage with a nice deck

was worried about Jodi tackling the steps but she was a trooper....up and down endless times without complaint

ate very well....cruised the lake in the boat about 8 times.....weather was awesome.....and took in some fireworks last night on a local friend's private island right across from the barge where the fireworks were going off

headed back this morning so traffic was non-existent

We were up in Grundy provincial park. We're suppose to stay till today but decided yesterday am to pack up and head home before the storm came. Glad we did. Drove into the storms on the way back quite the ride. They were doing warnings for tornadoes right where we were driving. Seen one long cloud twist then start to turn in on itself. Though we were gonna get to see a tornado form. Then it seemed to disappear. They did confirm one for auburn heeded towards Blyth which was about 20 min for where we were at the time.

Got it to Run and took it around the block. Idles super rough but at least it's mobile now. Fuel pump and filter is replaced. Fuel pressure is within factory spec. Next weekend is gonna be plugs, wires, coil.

Gonna order a bunch of new PCV hoses. Looks like this thing will be on the road in a couple weeks if all goes well. Needs a battery as well. Takes a boost to start but keeps running afterward.

May seem like nothing to most of you but coming from Zero mechanical knowledge to getting something running that died and sat 10 years ago feels pretty awesome to me! Means the world to Michaela as well.

Car has coil overs and full Magnaflow system as well as other things. Might make a thread for it. Zombie focus lol.

Lol. I'm gonna make some kind of grommet style ring to fit the cut out section. Apparently It's common practise with these cars lol.

If left alone the car gets dusty and dirty under the rear seat. Hopefully I'll seal that up. This car won't see winter or even very much rain so its not a big deal.

S197 mustangs have access holes below each rear seat cushion sealed off with a grommet. I replaced the pump in my 2006. I was pissed when i took the focus seat off only to find a tiny grommet just big enough for the controller wire lol

The fuel gauge isn't registering so I gotta go back in to reposition the float. :(

Garage almost all done up. More drywall up, patched the ceiling, put in some pot lights... Going to paint it two tone, bottom half black, upper grey and floor may be red.

Although yesterday something strange happened and got me paranoid. I was making final measurements for my skid plate yesterday, working under the front of the truck. I look towards my left and some black kid on a bike was in my neighbour's driveway, essentially up to the house and looking into my garage (never seen him before). I continued to work then thought "wait a minute, this isn't right - my neighbours are gone and I've never seen this kid before" so I look back wanting to ask if he needed help or something but he was gone. Oh well... I put in a camera in the garage that FTP's images to my server if it detects movement and I ordered a sensor for the alarm.

Some good news though, my garage door opener motor and track could have fallen on the Mustang. The track fell out of its perch (pin had this stupid press-on cap). The track landed on the garage door spring thing... Fixed it with zip ties to hold the pin in for now, going to drill a hole and put in a proper cotter-pin (spell?)

I hate that every few weeks I have some stupid small issue that keeps me fro driving my fox. Few weeks ago it was the line to my mechanical oil pressure gauge. Ive had the car running perfect for about 2 weeks and now the motor on my electric cooling fan started to seize and make a ton of noise. Now the car sits again while I have a fan on order....ugh. Hopefully that's it this year and I can just enjoy it!

Seems like every few years these cars get to that point, where you spend a whole season shaking loose random problems.

Just installed Windows 10 and found it of how invasive it is of your privacy. If anyone has Windows 10 installed go into the privacy settings and disable a lot of stuff or they will peep at everything you have. This is nothing new, MS has been doing it since XP (maybe earlier?). I remember getting a program called 'SafeXP' prior to installing XP. When run, it would automatically disable all the invasive components.

I didn't know XP did this. Windows 7 never prompted me, Windows 8 had something but it was automatically disabled already...after installing windows 10 EVERYTHING was enabled. It just scared the crap out of me.

I have a 4+4 screw currently was thinking of getting another 2WD cuz costs a little less and L/100 slightly better . Was wondering if they're sleds in the winter or can u get by with snow tires .
