Might be back for a visit soon if the weather doesn't warm up. However the wheels can stay on it this time lol. I think it needs a tune up badly. It's only getting like 350km to a tank. I'm thinking new plugs and sensors cleaned up. Still need to have alignment re checked as well.

initially I felt the same way. But I have loved Michael Keaton since I was a kid and I kept hearing that his performance was great. And Edward Norton too. Artistic dramas are not usually in my wheelhouse, but I am really glad I went to see this.
Think Fear & Loathing + Mr. Saturday Night + The Paper. Strange combination I admit, but it works and I left in awe of what I had just seen.
Cool, thanks for the info.

Nothing. Guys at work just really trying my nerves. Explain something very simply and slowly Making eye contact the whole time. I then ask "do you understand?" "Yup"
Come back an hour later to find that everything they've done is WRONG. All they have to do is pile steel crating on skids to be banded. Separate the large and small pieces on to different skids and threaded rod onto its own skid. Three different shapes. Three different skids.
I came back and everything was piled together. They had cleaned three floors in the time I expected to do one. I knew something had to have been wrong. Went up and sure enough. Clusterfuck skids of random shit everywhere.
I lost it. I have to teach these fucks how to use a ratchet strap every three times they use the fucking thing. I have no clue how they lived this long.

nice. good on him for speaking his mind, even if he does get slapped with a fine or something.
I watched some of that qualifying but was with the kids so I couldn't devote 100% attention to it. I honestly had no idea what was happening through any of it. At one point I thought there was a wreck and a red flag because everyone was stopped in the pit lane. Then they all take off with the pack crossing the line with 1 sec on a timer. then the last 2 cars in the pack (Gordon and Johnson) end up on the first row. WTF??
Being a Gordon fan I am happy to see him start the season on the pole, but come on, getting it like that was just silly. what is NASCAR doing??
Could not agree more Matt. Very confusing to watch, looks douchey how they hang back watching the clock wind down. Not at all what the fans want to see, no idea WTF Nascar is thinking.

I can understand if the drivers/teams wanted to go out there and run 20 laps hoping to get one good one in where they caught the draft right and then made the good move to pass before the finish line. But if they did this on lap 1 then the rest of the field would have 19 more laps to do the same thing. I guess this is what NASCAR wants. But this concept is flawed as nobody wants to set an early time and hope it holds while others keep trying (with warmer tires in later laps). So it makes the most sense to do what the drivers/teams did - hold out as long as possible to take the one shot at the lap with all other cars in the same boat (one chance, same tire temps) but not being the one to lead the pack. The drivers did what they had to do in that circumstance and the Hendrick cars got luckiest. The problem was that NASCAR thought they could make a 3hr live event out of this. FAIL.

Exactly as Clint said, it's not a drivers fault. He is just playing with hand he was dealt....NASCAR is one hell of a shady dealer these days.

It's a centre turning lane. I guess he thought it was his only option.
---
You can't see it on the vid too clearly, but the bus is actually slowing/stopping with it's right turn signal on. It doesn't actually indicate the red 'stop' flashers until it's fully stopped (and I think, he sees that there is a kid there).
Normally they hit their 'stop' flashers well in advance of the stop location, as they're still travelling, giving drivers behind plenty of time to come to a stop.
This bus driver, IMO, kinda confused people behind him with only his right flasher on, thinking he was just going to turn right. So they went to pass in the left lane and then the bus driver hit his 'stop' flashers, making everyone brake very hard.
Far too common for em to hit lights as they are all but stopped.

MY NEW UROLOGIST - TOUGH GETTING OLD
As men age, we start seeing more of the medical world, which
nowadays seems to include an increasing number of women as our physicians and therapists. And in my case, a new urologist.
My family doctor recently referred me to a just-out-of-medical-school female urologist. I saw her yesterday, and she's absolutely drop-dead gorgeous as well as unbelievably sexy.
She told me that I must stop masturbating.
I asked her why.
She said, "Because I'm trying to examine you..."

Yeah, was hoping they'd let it stay green as that would have been quite a finish and give the drivers ample time to slow down but either way there was a lot of white-knuckle fast close racing for a lot of those countdown laps (last 40).

Nah, I'd still do a superspeedway with 40+ 800hp cars running 200mph and bumping off each other while they do it. Lots of drama off the track/pre-race, etc, but trackside on race day, getting hit by the headwind as the pack approaches you and the vacuum as the speed past, the building sound crescendo as they're racing toward your section, the whole grandstand shaking/vibrating, knowing you're likely at risk if the "big one" occurs if you're in the lower half of the stands, thinking these guys are crazy to do this....is simply awesome. Sensory overload.

I know but I'm currently in risk management so I can't help it...I'm sure many of my seat neighbours don't have these thoughts as some don't even wear ear plugs :-)
I was at these races when these happened and know I likely couldn't get away if the crash was coming straight at me because it all happened so quickly (which the side/aftermath of the Daytona one was and the fence where spectators stand for this NHRA race is close enough that if a car goes airborne over the wall before the finish line I'm not sure those of us on the fence could escape) but that's part of the adrenalin rush I guess.

initially I felt the same way.
I suppose some others liked it too ... Birdman won for best picture, best director, best cinematography, and best screenplay.

'Mysterious' tunnel found near Pan Am site
Toronto police to speak about tunnel Tuesday
Posted on 2/23/2015 6:41:00 PM by Canadian Press
Police say a tunnel was found near a Pan Am Games venue at York University.
Const. Victor Kwong says the tunnel was found by a Toronto and Region Conservation Authority employee, who then reported it to police.
Asked whether the tunnel poses a security threat, Kwong said he had ``no idea'' and that a news conference has been scheduled for Tuesday.
A police source says a thorough investigation followed the discovery of the tunnel ``about a month ago.''
The CBC reports the tunnel was about 2.5 metres deep and about seven metres long before it was filled in by authorities.
The broadcaster says the tunnel had lights inside and was powered by a generator.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2964631/A-hero-s-farewell-Police-officers-dogs-line-streets-veteran-K-9-unit-taken-hospital-down.html?ito=social-facebook
Farewell old friend: US police officers and their dogs line the streets as veteran K-9 unit is taken to hospital to be put down, still carrying his favourite training sleeve
Judge was retired from West Deptford police in New Jersey in 2013
Was diagnosed with Chushings Disease and given medication
His health deteriorated and specialists then found masses over his body
The dog chewed his favorite toy through the guard of honor
One vet sobbed as she lined up with her colleagues inside the hospital
Judge was deployed 208 times and played a key part in 152 arrests
Chewing his favorite toy and surrounded by devastated police officers, this is the heartbreaking tribute made to a veteran K-9 just before he was put down.
The nine-year-old German shepherd named Judge was driven to Swedesboro Animal Hospital in Woolwich Township, New Jersey on roads flanked by saluting canine cops.
His handlers questioned whether he would be strong enough to make it to the door, following years of deteriorating health problems.
But his tight squeeze on the sleeve he used while he was being trained proved he had enough energy for one final walk.
Vets and specialists surprised the West Deptford Police department by lining up inside the clinic. According to Gloucester County Online, one of them was sobbing as Judge passed.
He was then taken into a treatment room - and was put to sleep.
Judge’s work aided in the arrest of 152 people, the seizure of three vehicles, the removal of three handguns from the streets, drug seizures, and the confiscation of more than $47,000 in cash, said police.
He was recruited in 2007 and was a key fixture in the department until he was forced to retire in 2013 because of issues with his teeth.
Last June however, his health started to get worse - suffering from vomiting, hair loss and bloating.
He was taken to see a vet, who found several large masses over his body. After that cops made the difficult decision to end his life.
More than than $13,000 was raised in one day to help pay for the German Shepherd dog’s mountain of medical bills last year, but it was not enough to save him.

Watching Need for Speed now - they're working that Mustang.
sooooo many things wrong with that movie ... but definitely NOT the cars, the sound of the cars, and the driving of the cars.

Is that pic of your own gear?? you should try some better blades. I really don't like the Merkurs. Derby for me, or the Feathers if I'm hacking through the heavy stuff.

Yes that's my gear - I have a couple packs of these Merkur Platinum Super blades left from sampler packs that I thought I should use up. I added this Muhle R89 Grande before late last year and wanted to see if these blades were any better in this razor than my Merkur 38C. Turns out to be a more aggressive combo with the Muhle razor which is not a good thing for me.
I have part of a pack of Derby's but I don't find them sharp enough and they pull when I'm using them in the Merkur razor - that said, I plan to try them in the Muhle to see if they perform better.
I have some Feather blades from the sample pack but they were too sharp for me so haven't used them since. The best for me so far are Astra Platinum, Personna Med Prep (blue), and to a lesser degree the Personna Platinum (red). Have some Bolzano blades too but found the first one I used quite sharp but should try them again.

I used to use the Astra's but have been on the Derby's for a while now.
but often I just use one of these:
