Hey Everyone. I’m looking at upgrading the shocks on the Shelby. jRP has a sale on bilsteins and these other coilover shocks call HSD. I have never heard of them but apparently much more popular on Euro cars. With the sale they are also a little cheaper than the bilsteins. JRP claim customer have had good luck with them and they are the best sub $2k coil overs. They are around $1k right now. So my question is would you take a chance on them?

First impressions based on pictures, looks like oh so typical these days coil over design where it's a spec body cobbled together via lock ring with a vehicle specific lower mount. Further, alum lower strut mounting ears welded one side only, not a fan for any kind of hard usage, sorry.
Good news part, Bilsteins work extremely well on a Shelby. Be even cooler if Koni would release dbl adjustable for all four corners.

KW would be my choice of coilovers. Expensive but so worth it. Will be doing the M2 with them next year.

JRI would be my real choice but that isn’t going to happen!
Sweet CO set up offered by Maximum but what a pinch price wise.

I didn't see a listing from HSD for Mustangs?
KW as mentioned. (their products are German TuV certified)
Cortex and Griggs (more race oriented stuff though)
Eibach makes a kit. https://eibach.com/us/c-81-products-street-performance-coilover-suspension-systems.html
Kenny Brown/Eibach (http://store.kennybrown.com/category/catalog/05-13-mustang/suspension)
H&R (they make a street kit and the RSS kit)
MCS- Motion Control Specialties (former Moton employees) albeit a little $$

My buddy has hsd on his Cobalt, he likes them, and I’ve seen no issue with them so far.
