“Dora” was to be picked up today but she apparently is waiting for a starter solenoid that had a crack.
The Harley was great but it’s time to get some knobby tires and go exploring.

Super cool. Back when I worked tradeshows there were a couple companies that specialized in tours worldwide and used these things for all sorts of rides in Africa, South America, etc. Very capable bikes from what they said.

Happy birthday! It's good to be nice to yourself. Knobbies or d/p tires will make a huge difference off roading. Enjoy and remember that thing still weighs over 200kg when you're in the woods.

Went out tonight for a rip around town and over to Newcastle. What an absolute dream to ride.
The abs and mtc work seamlessly. If not for the yellow light on the dash you would hardly know it was working.
Stop on a dime even on cold wet leave covered roads. Obviously riding for the conditions.
Set ride mode to rain and it drops the hp and the mtc and abs get more sensitive and interfere before it has a chance to get outa shape.
Can’t wait to get out in the dry or even the dirt.
As for the cold
Dress accordingly and I even had to turn down the heated grips they were burning my hands.

Bought this jacket this week at Royal for half price along with a pair of torque adventure pants.
The jacket has FXR’s known quality, warmth and water proofing they are known for in snowmobile gear. But was designed for adv motorcycle riders. Has full armour you expect in a motorcycle jacket. Same idea as the pants.
So far on short rides I haven’t even been using the liner. It’s too dam hot.
