Mass air confusion

I’ve done the wiring for the conversion, car still not running right. I hear a whizzing sound when driving and computer gets warm. Does anyone know what’s going on. Need someone to look at it.

what do you mean a whizzing sound? What year is the fox?

It’s an 88. Can’t explain it , like it’s coming through the speakers when I accelerate.
Any idea what it could be ?

Interference possibly, are all grounds good?

I’ll double check the wiring. Do you know anyone that’s got experience in this I can call?
I’m getting real frustrated, haven’t driven it in a while and just want it done.

Confirm Mass Air computer is ok
Confirm MAF is ok
Change vac hose to MAP
