Ontario's Progressive Conservatives said Tuesday they'll order an outside audit of the government's spending if elected to office in June.
Tory Leader Doug Ford said he doesn't trust the governing Liberals' spending or accounting practices and wants an independent analysis of the province's finances, which would be released publicly.
Ford has previously mentioned the possibility of an audit when questioned on his decision not to present a fully costed platform before the spring election.

"We're going to restore responsibility, accountability, and trust in government," he said. "Ontario deserves answers about how big (Premier) Kathleen Wynne's mess really is."
The Tories have consistently accused the Liberals of reckless spending and pointed Tuesday to the government's decision to plunge the province back into deficit instead of balancing the books as promised.

I think things have to change at the starting line. School curriculum's need to teach history and different political systems. Communism has a way bigger record of killing people than fascism. Capitalism has proven to be the most kind system so far conceived but is somehow viewed as evil.

Young folks are indoctrinated right from the start. I think most conservatives are made from parental example that runs counter to what's being taught in school.

My parents always voted liberal, I always voted conservative not because I'm a religious nut but because I want small government that holds us responsible for our own future.

You could argue that capitalism is killing more people than anything else only because the "1%" are in fact destroying the planet to enrich themselves. That being said, we still have the power and the vote that counts the most is our dollar. If you hate walmart and Chinese products, just stop buying shit... Problem is: capitalism works when the average person takes responsibility for their lack of action. Today, we blame everyone but ourselves when we're poor, sick or whatever. We cry hurt feelings when someone says an opposing opinion, we cry bigot, racist, pig when someone questions our belief system... I say we just to be polite.

I honestly believe something is seriously wrong and a force that wants us all dead (or enslaved) has infiltrated our governments at its core and slowly destroying our way of life. Seems the liberals are fronting that force (or more aggressive than others). They truly want to play Robbin Hood with the middle and upper middle class. They are attacking things that make us successful and punish us with taxes. I'm all for fairness but there are limits.

God forbid that you earn over 200k, in the eyes of those who didn't work 18 hour days for YEARS and didn't sacrifice everything they had including health you are a monster and you "can afford to give money to those who earn less". This is the general attitude, at least in the GTA. I do believe teachers are helping to enforce the whole victim mentality. I, for one, am NOT teaching that to my kid. And you bet your arse that I will get into arguments with teachers on this. If any extreme-left bullshit reaches my kid, I will go ape shit crazy on them.

EDIT: And I'm the type to not say stop helping people but what I'm saying is stop allowing deadbeats to bleed the system dry to free up funds to help those who actually need help. Build a fence and shoot down those trying to illegally enter the country versus having RCMP help them with their luggage across the border and costing us millions on top of millions that does no real good for anyone. Just because some people don't agree with Trump, doesn't make them a refugee.
