OK. This is starting to get ridiculous.
Today gas is going up to $1.25.9/litre. I was speaking to a friend who is visiting her son in Florida this week.
When I was there last January, local prices ranged from $2.20/gallon to $2.40/gallon. Another 15 -20 cents for 91 Octane.
Today, my friend says prices are exactly the same. Our costs are up 20% or more, theirs has not moved.
$2.39 /gallon, allowing for a smaller gallon and today's exchange rate on the dollar, equals 78.6 cents per litre.
At 2.20 that's 72.3c/l.
I've heard as low as $1.89 (62.c/l)
Just a big shoutout to Ms. Wynne and Mr Trudeau. Thank you so much for your "Carbon Tax"
Oh. And just in time for the coldest winter in decades, my fuel oil bill has gone from $.98/l last year to $1.25. Thanks so much.

starting to?
is this a new thread?
this thread has been a topic for over 10 years now.
Everybody lost their shit when gas stations started installing new signs to display "1.XX" instead of "XX.X".
Now, people line up around the block if fuel hits a buck ten.

In June when in Texas gas was $1.97 / gal for regular.
At that time I think it was $1.05 a litre here

I am in Moncton NB, and gas is as low as 114.8/ l at discount station. I think Montreal was cheaper than Toronto when I went through yesterday.
If its the carbon tax, Hope everyone remembers who to pin this on at election time.

You're averaging almost 14L/100km in a mid size passenger car? Is that correct? Are you sure? That seems extremely poor. It's worse than my full size truck!

I was getting the same last summer out of a 17 Mustang Ecoboost auto, averaging around 7.5 to 7.8L/100.

That is much worse than my Q50, albeit it is the 300hp version and yours the 400hp, but both are the 3l TT. I get 10.6l per 100 and I am on the gas with that car alot and it is always in sport+ mode (I don't pay for fuel)
Traffic is so utterly ridiculous in and around the city, even a gas miser see's poor numbers. Me, happy to be killing mileage numbers with multiple hits on the remote start.

Stop and go rush hour traffic, mixed city and hwy I think it is reasonable. Yes and remote starting the car on those cold days and idling to warm up the car probably doesn't help. My buddy who has the same model as me with the older engine is averaging 17.7 L/100km

It's ok in the city.. I average 17L/100. Remote start every morning, traffic morning and afternoon. Get's great mileage on the hwy.
The accord should be ok.. only had it a day now lol. She's brave for buying a 6spd to boot around in traffic with.. I couldn't do it on the daily.

Yep, big ol' hemi. Love it.
It is surprisingly rare.. A ton of v6's on the market but not many 6 speed. Took it for a ride last night.. very impressed. The seats are unbelievably comfortable. I kinda want to find one in the wreckers and pull the seats for the fox :D

Without the blade on it, our new Gas engined F-250 gets around 17L/100KM. With the blade around 28
Our 2013 F-450 V-10 gets: sit down, please: 33L/100 KM. Doesn't seem to matter: loaded or not.
My 2017 5.0 GT gets around 12L/100km
My wife's Ecoboost '16 Fusion 2L gets around 10L/100 KM.
All are day to day averages.
To help ease the sticker shock of filling a 130ltr tank, I top back off when it hits around half.

I try to get the wife to do that but she just can’t seem to fill it untill it’s empty. Or more like she leaves it till it’s empty and then I get to fill it.
Our 2017 5.0 F150was getting about 12.5in the summer. 14 in the winter. (Pretty much exactly the same as the eco boost MKT)
My work edge gets around 11 in the summer and 13 in the winter
E3500 chev cube fan gets a garbage 27. No matter if it’s empty or full. The new cube van is suppose to be better but I would not know cuz I still don’t have it Yet.

The accord is getting 11L/100km on eco mode. Was messing around with all the buttons last night.. the eco mode really changes the way the car drives.. pretty cool.
