Can I just ask everyone a huge favor? Those of you who are planning to put Christmas lights in your yards, please can you avoid anything red or blue and flashing? Every time I drive past, I think it's the cops and have a mild panic attack.
I have to remove my foot from the accelerator, slam on the brakes, put my seat belt on, throw my phone on the floor, hide my kahlua and cream, swallow my pot brownie, and shove the gun under the seat. It's major drama.
I really appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
Thank You ~

they are still called Christmas lights right? On a side note, I have problems with people not stopping at the stop sign out front of my property. I corrected that by buying one of those "Santa Stop Here" stop sign decorations, It is now setup and lit up about 4ft from the actual stop sign. So many people have stopped and then complained that they were distracted by the sign.....My reply "Well it made you stop at the legal stop sign....that you never do...." and then they drive off in anger.

Depends...if you dont belong in this country then your false sense of entitlement dictates we call them "holiday lights" to appease your religious beliefs that have no place in this country where we allow you to stay and thrive while the people who were born here take it in the ass to make sure youre comfortable and well nourished. We still call them xmas lights, anybody who disagrees is welcome to go back to whatever shithole country you came from.

Im not religious. XMas is just short form. Some people consider it disrespect to use the x but im not one of them....just lazy
Xmas is a common abbreviation (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abbreviation) of the word Christmas (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas). It is sometimes pronounced /ˈɛksməs/ (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA/English), but Xmas, and variants such as Xtemass, originated as handwriting abbreviations for the typical pronunciation /ˈkrɪsməs/ (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA/English). The "X" comes from the Greek (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_alphabet) letter Chi (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chi_(letter)), which is the first letter of the Greek word Χριστός, which in English is "Christ (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christ)".[1] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xmas#cite_note-oed-x-1) The "-mas" part is from the Latin-derived Old English (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_English) word for Mass (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mass_(liturgy)).[2] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xmas#cite_note-2)
There is a common belief (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_English_usage_misconceptions) that the word Xmas stems from a secular attempt to remove the religious tradition from Christmas[3] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xmas#cite_note-3) by taking the "Christ" out of "Christmas", but its use dates back to the 16th century.
I get 2 accidents a day out front :D
