Sled trail permits Ontario / Quebec

Just a reminder to fellow sledders, deadline for early bird pricing, Ontario and Quebec, cuts off very soon.
Rode Quebec three times last year, gonna buy season permit n save a few bucks this year.

Been trying to purchase a permit for couple three days (tried wee hours of the am when you'd think it would be quiet), OFSC site has been coughing n farting then purchase link went down for good. Hundreds of replys on Facebook from peeps experiencing similar issue plus at least a handful where the site hiccuped n charged them two or more times for a single permit.
Guess it was just too easy when you could contact a club direct on the phone n have it mailed or run out to one of the many vendors that carried em to purchase in person. I'm sure peeps would have more likely to have stayed calmer n polite if someone at the OFSC would have at least updated their Facebook message.
Interesting part, since it was a glitch at their end, will / are they able to extend the early bird pricing??

What's the fine for getting caught without one?

Can tell you, getting caught without a permit in Quebec is extremely expensive, ran into a buddy who had a couple of guys take a chance on their last trip there in the spring.
