more like a bolder,took a stone(or wheel lug) off the front window on the 401 Friday and it looks as if it was hit with a golfball size object swirl marks bigger than a toonie and you can feel the glass poking out!!!!SOB!!!!

I wonder if current windshields (2013 to present) are inferior.

I have driven for forty years and have never experienced a broken windshield for stones, until my 2013 Fusion and my 2016 F150. Both have had to have the windshields replaced due to stone impacts. I have had several impacts on my 2005 Mustang GT and there was negligible damage.
