View Full Version : Packages stuck in Customs.
Last two small packages shipped via US Post, to the border in a day or two but then stuck in Canada Customs for a week plus which brings the time frame into my hands at two weeks or more. Typically much faster, just a fluke or is this the new norm?

I think it is just a fluke. My springs arrived quite fast.

That's what's good about living on the border. I get an email notification from the UPS store and drive across to get the parcel.

This is also why all the local speed shops went out of business. Not one shop in town.

just a fluke I think... if the package is actually with customs not lost or misplaced. I've ordered a quite a few things lately not only auto stuff and they arrived pretty quickly
Make sure they are sent as "GIFTS" if possible no customs charges apply with Canada Customs if they are gifts.
Good thought but not looking to avoid paying, just need stuff faster. Guess just stings harder when it's twice in a row when paid for faster shipping.

^^^ Ouch, that's BS when you're paying extra for faster shipping. Most of my packages clear in a day or so from customs.

Glad it's not a part for my car!

Only GIFTS up to the amount of $60 are exempt from Duties and Taxes being assessed by the CBSA.
