I'm looking to completely change the speakers and head unit in my cobra. Just wondering who you guys are using for anything car audio.

I do it myself with nghtrdr and 01cobra.
If you're changing the speakers best to disconnect the mach 460 system and have a seperate amp run the lower door speakers and rear woofers (if replaced) and a secondary amp for a subwoofer.
I would check our the higher end decks with kenwood for example. The ddx 9903 is the one I have in my mach 1. It is a pretty good capacitative touch screen and very useful options.

That's definitely my plan to run a separate amp. I'm just not happy with the Mach system. I currently have a aftermarket double din deck but it's old and will be getting replaced. Do you guys install on the side?

Lol We are not a business. I meant weve done it to our cars. I can give you tips when needed.

My SN95 Cobra with the Mach460, the speakers have been upgraded to Pioneer units. I also have an older single DIN Alpine head unit CDA-9884. Still factory amps with an integration harness from PAC Audio. Sounds good enough for me. Although most of the time Im listening to the music through the Bassani catback....LOL

Has anyone switched out the 6x8 for a different sized speaker?

Can put 6.5 inch ones but they need adapter plates. Usually gotta cut it from mdf and shape it. Might be adapter plates on Amazon though. Research is key
