From the late 80s I believe there was a documentary about him called "Hail Hail Rock & Roll", I caught it one night being shown on Bravo channel. Lots of interaction with him and Keith Richards, who idolized while coming up as a musician.

That's his true legacy. Almost every great guitarist has claimed Chuck Berry as the inspiration why they first picked up a guitar.

You don't get a moniker like "the man who started it all" without having some serious influence to future generations. Incredible talent, but some crazy life events as well
