Bought a Mishimoto Aluminum Radiator 6 years ago. It comes with a lifetime warranty. Last year I noticed a leak at the bottom where the core is connected to the side tank. Instead of messing with the warranty at the time, I just went ahead and got a replacement radiator.
Digging through a bunch of documents this weekend I finally found the receipt. I was 1/2 way through filling out the online warranty claim form when I came across the shipping costs:
If a replacement or repair product is to be shipped to Canada, the charge will be $80.
For all claims submitted more than two years after purchase, there will be a $25 surcharge added to the prices above.
I have no need for this rad other than a spare. It's just taking up space. I was going to have Mishimoto repair or replace the rad and then try to sell it. But it seems silly to pay $105 for a rad that I don't need and might not be able to unload.
Options?

Worth a good buck if you get it replaced.

I voted for wall art. That way you'll still have it hanging around if you need it down the road.

price have gone up for that brand, sadly in all the s197 they seem to have sprung leaks after 2-3 month of usage...
Lucky it lasted 6 years!
As someone mention to me... just avoid it all together!
AM has the same review of the leak issue.

$300 when I bought it 6 years ago. Not sure what they are going for now.
stangfan, sent you a PM. If you want it we can work out a deal. It's a 94-95 direct bolt in.

Yes, I saw the pics of the new one. Looks like a more universal fit one than the one I have. By that I mean it looks like a standard rad with the mounting hardware bolted to it and they can use different mounting hardware for different applications. Looks like a decent piece.
I filled out the online warranty form and sent in the pictures. We'll see what happens.

If they don't want the old one then garage art idea is awesome.
Maybe you will get option 1&4

Follow up: Mishimoto came through with the replacement rad. Good service. Ended up a little over $170 CAD to my door.
