I heard on the radio the other day that collectors are paying big money for old Disney VHS tapes.
Here's an example
$19k US for Beauty and the Beast!

Saw a sealed one for $50k. Shipping was free.
Makes Barrett Jackson prices look sane
Think I'll sell a few of my kid's VHS tapes and pick up a BOSS 9

If that's for the tapes; I wonder how much my VHS player is worth?

I collected all of these Disney movies since I was a child. I even have doubles of some of the ones that they "Opened the Vault" for. Call me crazy I guess, but I would sell them for the right price.....

My wife has a ton of them, maybe I can convince her to sell them......all are used though, we don't bubble-wrap anything, lol, if we bought it, we've used it.
Not tape related but if you have old records which I have about 8000.
Check out discogs. A place to sell and buy vinyl and cd's.
Some of the prices are insane LOL

Vinyls I can somewhat understand, I get the "warmth" and "feel" of vinyl. But VHS? 333×480? Unless it's a copy of some extremely rare movie that will never ever be released again. Like Star Wars.
I have a DVD copy of the original wide screen laserdisc Star Wars. I treat those like gold, even tho they are copies.
