Just a friendly reminder to all. Lots of people are tempted to have everything perfect for Christmas when family comes over. This includes cleaning that oven that you haven't cleaned all year.
Always recomend to my customers never run a self clean cycle right before Christmas.
All to often the high heat from a self clean cycle can cause issue with your oven. Which means calling a tech and ordering parts. Nothing worse than the oven quitting a few days before Christmas and parts not being available to fix in time to cook that turkey.
Just leave it be.
Besides if you have guests that are criticizing how clean your oven is. Then maybe it's time to find new guests.
