Yes, some pretty nasty weather in the area here, especially just on the outskirts of Waterloo heading north. Looks like I will be taking a different than usual route home tonight!
Everyone be careful out there, hope you've got the winter boots installed on all your rides.
Plus, make sure you have warm clothes just in case you end out outta the car n on foot.
Fill your tank before you head out.

Highway 21 out this way has been closed for over a day, probably be at least another day until it's re-opened. Squall's are pretty bad right now.

Ha! My inlaws will be stuck in Tiverton. Hope it's not like that when we go up there after Christmas.
I ditched the car up there about 13 years ago on a night when all the roads were closed. Sat for 3 hours before someone picked us up. With a pregnant (I don't know at the time[emoji51]) wife. Last time I did that.
Nothing in the hammer right now.

squalls kicked the shit outta the city in short order
was worried that my wife would be fubar negotiating the Yonge and York Mills steep hills and take 2 hours to get home
she's getting smart and side-streeted to avoid the shitshow....and was home in 20 minutes
we got the car set up smart for the conditions......great winter boots.....and the car (2016 GTI) is a tank in the snow with the right boots
all good here

Lucky you could stay in the car. Sometimes the roads are closed and you don't even know it too.
After the wind and commotion here this week we ended up with shockingly little accumulation. Sounds like just North got hit a lot harder.
